The cameras auto focus messed up about half way through the recording on this video so apologies for the slightly blurry footage.

The matron of ravens is good as far as we know, but oh my goodness! I’m loving your reactions to this show! I can’t say enough to how much I’m enjoying this. Truly amazing!

The Matron is my momther and i love her.

Yeah, no, the matron isn't evil - but death gods are always a bit off for people who fear death, so it's easy to get the creeps off of her. And when you consider the circumstances under which we meet her, it's not dificult to see her as an evil entity at first.

YEEESSS MATRON OF RAVENS TIME! Last season, Percy was my favorite character. This season, Vax became my favorite.

When The Matron of Ravens was introduced, i posted a little comment that a Cleric i played for a one-shot worshipped her as his deity. This is why. She is a god of death, but she does not lord over death. She is a shepherd. She minds the gate, and that goes both ways. Her alignment is Lawful Neutral. She lives by a code, neither good nor evil. Death is an inevitability. Unavoidable. Neither good nor evil. My one-shot Cleric, William Door III ("Most folk jus' call me Bill!") is a cheerful and exuberant man. Hardly what you'd expect from someone who worships a God of death. Most of his clan are like this. They provide services to families of those at death's door. They bring a festive atmosphere with them, ensuring the soon to be departed that their loved ones are in good hands. The most dreaded day for a loving family becomes a celebration of life. It's kind of a Day of the Dead thing. He's a fun character to play and has become a favorite NPC with my table.

Matron of Raven was once a mortal who became the deity of death, replacing the old god of death

21:08. That's true. Death gives life meaning. Think about it. Without death, people would just live, forever and ever. With no end. Idk about the rest of y'all, but I prefer having death as a reminder that one day, it'll all be over. It's almost comforting, knowing that. It's strange, but still, it's part of life😌
