Catherine Tate is an absolute fucking treasure. 💜💜

Luke Teasdale

hey morg... smuggle yourself into mosco's suitcase when she goes home, Im sure it will go fine

NatMcK7

That was a great reaction! Catherine Tate is a legend. She was originally just going to be a guest star, she's a big comedienne over in the UK. But then they brought her on again for David's final season. I don't think this is really a spoiler since you're already aware of Cathrine Tate but yeah! Have fun at the convention and looking forward to next weekend!

Actually, when Donna said "You can stop now!", it was less to save the Racnoss and more to save the Doctor himself, who was just standing there watching as the room they were in was flooded. He didn't think to save himself until she reminded him. I won't say why, but that is an important detail to remember.

The Runaway Bride - When this first aired we had to wait months since the Doomsday finale, but chronologically it's seconds later. It's better getting to watch it all at once rather than waiting ages. - "Is Nerys the one that gave that look?" - bingo - "Get me to the church!" - Do you have that song in the US, "Get me to the church on time"? - "Sell the tape to You've Been Framed" - that's the UK equivalent of America's Funniest Home Videos. - You've probably picked up on the pattern that anything from early on in the universe's lifetime is baaaad. They make it sound like a real Dark Forest scenario. - Segways were a new thing back then. - Am I the only one who thinks the Racnoss Queen is quite... alluring? I feel we have very different senses of humour though.

Oh, by the way, I recommend not reading the title of episode 4 this upcoming season (the one after Gridlock), as it contains a spoiler for the episode and I generally think the experience of that specific episode is better if you remain unspoiled about it.

Luke

yay one of my fav doctor who xmas specials!!! i love catherine tate so much shes a national treasure imo

ShadowDust

Highly agree. Not looking at the title will make it more enjoyable

LikeCat

I dare to think what would have happened if she HASN'T there.

Luke

i feel like some people expect donna to be all silly and jokey bc catherine tate is a comedian, but her emotional acting is incredible. like you feel so much for what donna goes through here, and i think its amazing how much chemistry ten and donna build as friends in just one episode. incredible tardis team, and personally i especially love that they're a platonic duo! the romances in the show are sweet and can be interesting but i do love when companions on the show are just besties with the doctor, and with donna especially i think her and the doctor being solely platonic actually makes the two of them feel closer in a way? i feel like she's able to be real with him and tell him the truth in a way that some of the other people he travels with aren't, because she sees him as just a friend and isn't blinkered by being head over heels for him. can you tell i'm obsessed with this episode lol 😅

Luke

but yeah i love this ep, and i was having a bad day today so this was great timing haha

The Baker's Ruview

"POCKETS" 😂. My favourite companion is coming up next.

If the Doctor (mainly 10) and Rose were in NewWho what he (4) and Sarah Jane were in Classic Who populatity vise, than the Doctor (10) and Donna are/were what he and Sarah were relationship vise... The true platonic relationship.

Verdigree

Lol, at some point, the version you're watching was given new, wrong subtitles, the person who wrote them didn't realize the Racnoss lady was quoting Alice in Wonderland's made-up word "snicker-snack" and just wrote "speaking alien language"

Awzrael

Oh I'm so hooked for season 4... I mean yea we have to get through season 3 first but STILL. Can't wait for Donna to come back again! Loved your reaction, wonderful video!

Liam Gradwell

This was my first ever Christmas special that I watched with my family. It’s so memorable. Cannot wait for you to experience Season 3 Morgan. Be ready and good luck. 💜

Awh, my aunt had three dogs - Willow, Arrow and Meadow. They were beautiful girlies. It's been many many years, but you reminded me of them :)

LikeCat

I don't think you noticed (since you didn't comment on it), but when the military arrived they said ,,This is an order from Mr. Saxon"... Just thought I mention it.

Tintros

Lesson learned? Don't ever say this show can't make you cry (again) :) It's got some glorious moments, and beautiful ones, but also some heart-wrenching tragic ones... Onward!

,,I'm in my wedding dress!" ,,Yes you look lovely, now COME ON" - Why can I imagine a similar conversation between Crowley and Aziraphale (just switch the ,,wedding dress" to something like: ,,I had this coat for a millenia." ?

Phoenix_mercury

Reminds me of the conversation between them about azi miracling away the paint and how he would know ect

LikeCat

Yeah, it an unconchous connection I made while writing this comment. (It was Crowley who miracled away the paint, because Azi didn't want to)

Raine

Donna my girl 😭🫶🏼 I love her so much🫶🏼

Jules Moum

Well that was fun, in a tearful way. If there's one thing we know, at this point in this show, is that you Morgan, is very likely to cry at one point or another, in every DW reaction video you make. Sending you lots of hugs and love🫂💜. I hope you had fun at the convention with the Skittle Squad🌈❤️

Verdigree

This episode does beg the question of the exact process the Doctor used while hacking the ATM, I assume he just steals it from billionaires accounts or doesn't bother and just mechanically makes the machine spit out the cash

LikeCat

Option one would be the logical choice, but option two sounds the more fun (and by extention VERY Doctor like😂)

T0m4002

7:55 if you were in line to see david tennet and you were zapped away by6 some alien you'd be pissed

Dinker

Wait at least a year and make sure they're not poisoning you was exactly the sort of advice I should expect. That's so perfect.
