Louie DID learn something: that Scrooge's tactics work on a much slower timeline than he's okay with, while Goldie's tactics get immediate results. Scrooge should really have thought his choice of inspirational story through better.

Hound of Hades

John D. Rockerduck is a character who until this episode, appeared only in the original comics and was more well known in Europe then here in the U.S. Also fun fact, in case you missed it, his name is a reference to the famous American industrialist John D. Rockefeller, whose considered to have been one of the richest people of the modern age.

Nice one! I have to agree that Goldie/Scrooge never really hit with me, either. Enemies to lovers requires you to stop being enemies, and it doesn't seem like they want to take that step with her character. I also immediately thought of Fizz's distraction song when Goldie was singing :)

Im right there with you on not really liking the ship of Scrooge and Goldie. She frustrates me to no end. Gyro's whole thing in this episode is funny though as well as Louie's random outbursts that interrupt the story. 😂 thanks for the reaction!
