This episode was so exciting when I watched it the first time. I was so hopeful that Donald would get to see her first, and then of course his bad luck kicked in and I remember having to pause so I could yell at the TV the first time I saw it. Also, the cliffhanger is torture. 😭 can't wait to see your reaction to the next one! Loved this one!

The VHS is a play on The Necrinomicon. Most likely a reference to The Evil Dead since the book was in that movie, and we see Donald attacking zombies with a chainsaw, which happens in said movie. Poor Donald indeed. Dude cannot catch a break. We love the kids, we love Scrooge, but Donald is an unsung MVP of this show.
