Fun-fact: When River tells the Doctor his name, Alex Kingston (the actress) wispers profanities in David's ear and they had to reshoot that scene MANY TIMES, because David could not keep a straight face... Also in the scene that got in Alex says ,,Sheniqua" in his ear (it is distorded later to be heard as it is heard in the episode) - And no before you ask that is NOT the Doctor's real name.

I was the same first time watching the episode🤣😂🤣 4:52, "We're near the equator so...👅☝🏼. This must be BIOGRAPHIES!!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I love how excited he got over biographies🤣🤣🤣 14:25, "Ah! I'm thick! Look at me. I'm old and thick!" 😂😂😂 41:50, "If parents let their kids watch this, they would definitely sleep with nightlights into their teens." Yeah. I watched this episode in my early teens. I was just as shocked👀🤯 Forest of the Dead: 1:00:23, "ARE WE NOT GONNA FIND OUT WHAT SHE SAID TO HIM?!" Well... uh, we find out what she said, but not specifically WHAT she said. 1:09:20, *the shocked look on your face, as you saw the umm, panel falling to the ground.. You got really worried about the Doctor* 😂😂😂😂 1:09:26, *sees The Doctor hanging and dangling* "Omg🙄 Doctor🤦! You are built different, okay😂😂😂" You were so real for that Morgan😅🤭😁 1:28:40, "River, you know my name. You whispered my name in my ear." Soooo, somewhere sometime in the future, the Doctor's future, he's gonna meet River, and tell her his real name! Mind blowing, isn't it😃 Morgan?! 1:34:39, "Look at that! I'M VERY GOOD!!!" YES YOU ARE DOCTOR! That glimmer of hope he got in his eyes👀✨️. I LOVE THAT LOOK🤩 1:37:02. Is he gonna snap his fingers to see if it works? *6 seconds later* 🫰🏼✨️ and the TARDIS opens, and you Morgan is just gasping😧. Silence in the Library - Did you have the "Silence in the Library" rhyme growing up? "Silence in the library, silence in the street. The biggest fool in England is just about to speak, starting....now!" and then the first person to make a noise is "the fool". - Btw, as you seem to enjoy humming the theme, you should listen to the extended version. Because you skip the end credits to avoid the previews you never get to hear the full thing. - You didn't recognise the other Nazi from Good Omens. 2 for 2! - 4022 people were on the whole planet? Not a very popular library. Forest of the Dead - This is the most Stephen Moffaty of his episodes. High-concept sci-fi, using repeated mundane phrases like "Are you my mummy" to scare, relying on simple questions like "Count how many people are in this room" or "Look at the children" for a revelation moment. He's the next showrunner and you'll see his techniques repeat. - Bonus marks for the stereotypical character seemingly only concerned about patent rights and family name turning out to be nice. - "I was so confused" - sounds like the perfect excuse to watch it a second time :). - Yes, you get told when a Time Lord would reveal their name.

This is a typical Moffat thing to do (one of his signiture stuff - ,,Moffat-isems", just a little taste for what's in store when he takes over as showrunner starting in 11's run): Introduce a thing be it a person or at the time (seemingly) unsignificant plot-point and in the following episodes/ whole serieses (or IRL years) just make it important in one way or another... And to do it so seemlessly to where you only realize the importance once EVERYTHING is out in the open.

A sentient swarm of shadow piranha that can strip the flesh off a target in less than a second have The Doctor dead to rites, they look him up and decide to retreat. A reminder that beyond the whimsy, the jokes, the smile, the aura of goodness and childlike sense of wonder, there lies a being that gives the nightmares nightmares. Add an irrational fear of shadows to the list of traumas this show inflicts.

Time Lords traditionally keep their birth name secret and choose a name/title to go by. The fact that the Doctor chose that as his name tells you a lot about what he feels is his role in life and the universe. Same with the Master!

Honestly, before this reaction I didn't really care if you watched the 11th doctor or not, but after this reaction, I'm REALLY HOPING that you continue watching Doctor Who past 10. I fell off after the first season of the 10th in real life. Somehow I replicated that here, I hope I'll go back and watch it with you. Ironically I came back for this two parter and was absolutely destroyed by it. I really hope you'll stick around with 11, they brought me back to the show. Edit: I was tired and lost a regeneration somewhere.

Ah, some of my favorite episodes. Very strong sci-fi elements, talk of time travel, sciencey answers to stuff, and at the end a happy ending. Mostly. You find out the answers to some of your questions sooner, some later. Enough that you'll eventually be satisfied with it, most likely. Excellent reaction video, I'd been waiting for you to get to these :)

God thst episode is nightmare fuel. But I’d argue the happy/sad creatures in the whale episode in the next season are scarier Edit; really thought about it and they’re pretty equal. The tick-tock singing makes ykw scarier

This totally is nightmare fuel, after I watched it as grown adult I had to do mental gymnastics to convince myself that I really don't need to get stressed about going to the hallway when it's dark😂😂 These episodes are so good though! Your confusion was relatable, really😂 Also I am reeeeally excited for you to watch the next episode, can't wait!

I have been trying so hard to get caught up on your doctor who reactions so that I can watch each episode when it first comes out. The library episodes are some of my favorites. Im so glad you enjoyed it and I look forward to you hopefully continuing with the show so that you can get to know the little surprises that come up in later seasons. At least once per season Morgan temporarily forgets the element of time travel. How could someone know the Doctor but the Doctor doesn't know them? hmmm XD
