If you think these episodes made you cry, you'll need 5 boxes of Kleenex for David Tennant's last special.

Someone

The crazy dalek was the one that teleported away in the New York episode, and Davros is a classic villain who first created the daleks. Sarah Jane was the companion at the time, so she knows him

Willow 404

Davros was first introduced during the 4th Doctor's era, with Sarah Jane as the companion at the time. Originally the Daleks were a human-like race called the Kaleds, which Davros was apart of. They were at war with another humanoid race of people called the Thals. Davros was essentially a mad scientist and bioengineered Kaled DNA into what the Daleks are today, sealing them away into an indestructible tin can and genetically filtering away all emotions except hatred and prejudice, all in order to win this war. I'm sure you might've heard but obviously we have some characters from the spinoffs Torchwood & The Sarah Jane Adventures. Luke is Sarah Jane's adopted, he was grown by aliens to help take over the Earth but after defeating the aliens, Luke just moved in with Sarah Jane. Ianto and Jack have a sort of relationship at this point. I don't think they exactly label themselves as partners or boyfriends, but definitely have a fling going on

Jack basically has a fling with anybody he comes across.

YOUR REACTION WAS AMAZING, EVERYTHING I WANTED Yes I hate the fact that they had to have a dalek shoot the Doctor at the Ten/Rose reunion I am here for you roasting Davros, please continue Donna is LITERALLY THE BEST I'M SO SAD SHE HAD TO LOSE HER MEMORY she went from being the most important woman in the universe who saved the universe to thinking she was wortrhless again :((( Also we call the Metacrisis Metacrisis or Tentoo The Doctor not letting Jackie fly the TARDIS was gold And yes Gwen is the descendent of the servent girl from season 1 in the Gelth episode, same actress too. If you want OG Ten/Rose check out fanfics on ao3. I still have to read some because this ending hurts so much I really hate that the Doctor had to leave Rose back in here. Also Tentoo said "I love you" in Rose's ear You should watch the deleted scene I posted in the doctor who channel on discord, it makes the Doctor leaving Rose with Tentoo behind a little better There's more exciting things to come, can't wait for your reactions!!!

Me seeing the Torchwood gang: ... This was way before ,,Children of Earth". 😭 Me seeing Luke Smith and Mr. Smith (and K9): ,,And there it stands on Bannerman Road, a house... Waiting... For the next one... Waiting for the stories to start over again" 🫡❤️😊

I seen this episode when it came out I wos 18 now 37 and still haven't got over it Dr who gave me ptsd

Willow 404

LOL he does, i just meant that for Torchwood, he and Ianto were pretty consistent, despite never actually having a label on it

Mary

Love the camera angles in the TARDIS during this episode. When it was full of people it was a lower angle in amongst the characters, once, it was a pov shot from the doctors perspective and then at the very end it was from a very high angle looking down on the doctor from above, making him look small. It’s a consistent pattern that each season with the tenth doctor ends with a scene of him alone in the tardis. Donna’s departure from the show remains one of the saddest moments for me in the entire thing. Also, your descriptions of Davros had me dying of laughter lol. I think you might really enjoy watching the Doctor who behind the scenes content btw .

I got to tell you, seeing this episode after watching the spin-off shows (Torchwood and The Sarah-Jane Adventures) made it quite another experience, as this was one hell of a crossover. Hell, just seeing characters from the fairly goofy and kid-friendly Sarah-Jane Adventures meet characters from the more edgy and not-so-kid-friendly Torchwood is frankly bizarre. Oh, and by the way, there actually is an episode of the Sarah-Jane Adventures where David Tennant's Doctor has a pretty big role, called 'The Wedding of Sarah-Jane Smith'...which actually takes place between this episode and the last special. ...and oh yeah, Davros. Believe it or not, he used to look a lot more...normal, but well...mad scientist stuff happened and now he looks like that. I would also not exaggerate when I say that he is the single most evil character in the entire Doctor Who universe. In an old episode of the show, the Fourth Doctor asked him the question, "If you created a virus in your laboratory that would destroy every other living thing in the universe, would you allow its use?" ...his answer was "Yes." The Daleks have no choice but to be evil, all because he made them that way, so Davros can be fully blamed for every single terrible thing the Daleks have done. Oh, and final fun fact: the Shadow Proclamation was originally planned to be way bigger and more resemble the Senate from the Star Wars prequels, but...they ran out of budget for that.

Hey Morgan, I've been loving this reaction series! I haven't seen the earlier seasons in a while so it feels special being able to watch it with you along the way 😊 I don't know whether or not you're going to watch the 11th Doctor (I'm typing this before watching this video haha), but if not, I'd still suggest the special "The Day of the Doctor". It was the special to celebrate the shows 50th anniversary. I won't spoil the story but it's a very emotional cap off to the 11th Doctor and the Doctor's past as a whole. I suggest it though also because there's the 10th and 11th Doctor in the same episode and there's some good shenanigans.

labyrinthpeaches

The Avengers Endgame of Doctor Who episodes for sure 😂I am sorry you had to suffer through that ending, and also sorry to say this is not the last time the show rips out your heart and stamps on it 😭

The Baker's Ruview

Morgan just straight up roasting Davros has me cackling out loud. "He looks like a shriveled up nutsack" i'm screaming 🙈😂😂😂

I think we can all agree that amongst the first 3 compsnions of NewWho Donna's ending is the saddest. Yeah Rose is ,,stranded" in a different universe forever (now she has at least the Metacrisis Doctor with her), Martha left voluteraly... But Donna, he had to wipe her mind to save her... You can SEE in 10's eyes that he did not wanted to do it, but he had no other choice to save her... On that note Dalek Khan's profecy did come true. A companion DID ,,die" (just not in the traditional sense)... The most faithful companion of them all...

LikeCat

,,You take ordinary people and you fashion THEM into weapons" - Davros is such a great villain (especially lines like THIS). ,,Think how many have died for their beloved Doctor" - It isn't about that it was the Doctor's fault, it was about the Doctor (especially 10) blaming himself for the death of so many innocent people (even if they chose to secrifice themselfs to save the others)... And even Davros can see that (also side-note his ,,third eye" is his ONLY working ,,eye")

Verdigree

As a refresher on what happened to the Master, he chose to die instead of regenerate and the Doctor cremated him

Welcome to devistation nation (i.e. Post Series 4 finale)... Somehow the next 5 specials are even more tragic (the last 3 the most)... It is surreal that in a month or so (given how you will react to the specials) we'll start 11's run

Jack: ,,Martha Jones, voice of a nightingale-" Morgan: 😳🤏😭 You were this close to letting the floodgates open...

Here we are at the Tear Gates. Welcome and sorry🫂. Let's do this The Stolen Earth: 2:00, Morgan: "I also have a tissue box." Me: I don't think that's enough tissues😐. We'll see 7:35. So, bye bye blue sky. Hello PLANETS🤯?!! 8:55, "Donna, I'm taking you to the Shadow Proclamation." WE FINALLY GET TO SEE THEM!! LET'S GOO!!! 13:39. "Martha Jones, voice of a Nightingale." Oh Jacky boy. You FOOL🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ 43:22, "PHONE! PHONE! Martha, is that you? It's just a signal. Can we follow it? Just watch me." 🤣🤣🤣!! Never before has The Doctor been THAT excited about a phone call🤣🤣 46:33, Jack: "WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?!" Me: "He was busy TRYING TO FIND YOU!!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 49:24, "He looks like a shriveled up nut sack." Accurate 51:33. ⚠️Warning⚠️: Gross content🤢. Skip to 52:30 if you don't want to vomit🤮. I almost vomited my candy from seeing that🤢🤢. Morgan, you were so valid for that response!! 1:00:34. "TO. BE. CONTINUED!" Oh my Gods. Really? Ending the episode right there. Geez Journey's End: 1:12:03, "Is it the TARDIS?! Is she- hooked up to the TARDIS? Is- is that the heartbeat?!" I think so🤔. Yeah. I know what's going to happen, but I can't remember the details😅😅 1:18:22. It's like, if TD and Donna had a kid. That kid looks like his dad, but talks like his mom. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 1:46:52, "Donna, you can't even change a plug!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Well, that was before she became DoctorDonna, HAHA!! 1:51:00, Rose: "Three Doctors?" Jack: "I can't tell you what I'm thinking right now." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 2:02:22, "IT'S JUST LIKE GOOD OMENS GOD DAMNIT🥺😭!!" And here's comes the tears😢🫂 2:05:03, "Was it his real name? *6 seconds later* Aww🥲😭." I think he said "I love you", too Rose. Plus the fact she kissed him💋, should prove me right😊 2:07:20, "What is about to happen?" Nothing good, I can tell ya that much😔. She's, repeating some of the words. Doctor knows that a Time Lords mind in a human body, isn't a good thing. It's too much for Donna. 2:09:00. He's erasing her memories from all the Time Traveling. It's to keep her safe. If she kept the Time Lord knowledge, she would've died!! 2:16:40. I'm not even gonna ask if you're okay Morgan. I just know you're not fine. You're pissed off😡 and sad😭, and you have every right to be! I'm pissed off too!! How dare they make us cry?! Why can't a DW season end in happiness?? Now, there's 5 specials following this season finale. I haven't really watched them, but I've heard (and read the comments) that the last of those specials is really sad. And if you choose to continue reacting to DW 11th doctor and beyond, I can't guarantee I'll watch them, but I hope you enjoy them at the very least😊🫂 Last edit: This was like a mix of entertaining🤣 and torture😭 for me!! I love seeing you laugh Morgan, but every time you start crying, I Start Crying😭😭. I hope you can recover from this absolute heartbreak💔. Till next time. Bye bye🫂👋🏼

The Doctor/Donna Noble was, and always will be, the most important woman in the whole universe. 😭💜

Valid feelings Morgan. This is very much an ending that is so well written and tragic. 💜

And to quote Four - To Sarah Jane in ,,Genesis of the Daleks" (his most iconic line/ scene - Which says a lot given that Tom Baker was in the role for the longest - 7 years - out any Doctor EVER) ,,If I touch these two vires together the Daleks cehse to exist... To kill a whole intelligent species, I would be no better than the Daleks"

temp89

Stolen Earth - If I ever needed to convey a cryptic message of impending doom to you, I'd choose the phrase "No nightingales". - ♪ Cool guys don't look at explosions ♪ - Daleks are genetic mutants, so it's more "grown in a lab" than "given birth to". - ouch. That phone call reminded me of phone calls with my own family. I'd have cut that bit out the video. - "The Subnet was created by the Mr Copper foundation" - Mr Copper is the old man from the Titanic episode who wanted to buy a house. - Davros is an iconic old Who villain, what Blofeld is to James Bond. He was a scientist of the Kaled race who was obsessed with creating the perfect organism and ended up making the Daleks. - To refresh your memory, after Dalek Sec and 2 other Daleks were killed in the Manhattan episode, the last surviving Dalek was Caan who did a hasty "emergency temporal shift" when the Doctor tried to negotiate with him. - You think you had it bad, we had to wait a week to find out what happened next. - You aren't aware of this but it's always been a hard established law of the series that Time Lords only get 12 regenerations. This one counts, which means the Doctor's next regeneration is his final one. Journey's End - It sure feels like there should be subtitles for the German bits. You can find a translation here: https://www.reddit.com/r/doctorwho/comments/1hai0w/comment/casg1js/ - I'd say there are contradictions approaching hypocrisy within the Doctor. For a pacifist he has killed a lot of people and this won't be the last time he'll be raked over the coals for it. - The fan ficcers must have gone crazy with the human Doctor living with Rose. - It was "I love you" he whispered to Rose. - Personally I'm not a fan of this finale. Every Who episode has its share of "But that's... impossible", "But you can't...", etc but this has it in triplicate. And then you have the Deus Ex Machina on top of a Deus Ex Machina. - Similarly Donna's departure didn't have the emotional impact for me it did on others. It was a reset to the status quo instead of a death. By the standards of past and future companions, it's a rather painless fate.

oopsglitch

"I'm convinced they give us new companions to give us new wounds." Well of course, why would they kill the same companion 5 times?

marauderluverz (Luci)

Saying goodbye to Donna is rough for me every time. She had such growth as a person during her time knowing the doctor and it's difficult knowing that she won't ever remember what she did. All the lives she saved. I cried right along with you. Also, I was going to ask is there a link to the discord server? I'd love to join it but haven't found it yet.

Tintros

OOF, yeah this was gonna be a rough react, no question. The first episode ending like that with To Be Continued, was *torture* back then. At least you can cue up the next episode now. And yeah... What happened to Donna was SO tragic and unfair, I was pretty pissed off about it. Kudos for toughing it out, and the reaction was amazingly emotional. You dragged all of us on that roller coaster with you, and it was quite the ride.

LikeCat

No matter how many times I watch it that jansta-position from ,,You have the biggest family on Earth"/ the group flying the TARDIS (and the Earth) back together to Rose saying her final goodbye on Bad Wolf Bay to then the ending with Donna's ,,death" is just always hurts. Without fail.

Luna Rose

I've watched it a million times and my heart breaks the same and I can't help but cry for like an hour after lol but I really liked Donna.

T0m4002

31:05 ironically he was the one who founded them

T0m4002

33:20 you know the first darlek beaten on screen was blinded with a hand full of mud then pushed on a blanket... which in there original design cut off its power supply like a dodgems (bumper car)

I think the ,,He is fourteen" line from Sarah Jane is (mainly) for people who had watched the spin-off shows, because when Luke was created/ ,,born" in the first episode of the SJA (and subsequently adopted by Sarah Jane) he was around 12, so it was there to give people an idea of where it is timeline wise if you watched the shows... Similarly (very slight spoilers for TW) to the 1st season finale of Torchwood ends where Utopia (the 1st part of the 3 part finale of Series 3) begins - Jack running towards the TARDIS.

SPIKELB!

I love your reactions! Donna leaving is always the roughest one for me to watch because it’s the most heartbreaking! She leaves but unlike the other companions she doesn’t get to keep the memories of all the beautiful stuff she saw and did. Also, you were wondering how to watch the Doctor Who specials that come next. So there are 5 episodes in total for the specials. In order it’s: The Next Doctor, Planet of the Dead, The Waters of Mars, and then The End of Time Part 1 and 2. I would at least recommend watching the last 2 in the same reaction just cause it’s a two parter. And just so you know, each of these episodes is about as long as a Christmas special so they’re each about an hour long.

Carabas

Of course he likes Saturdays. That's when his show is on TV.

as someone who stays away from upcoming show news. All i knew going into " stolen earth" was that this was gonna be davids last season. so when he starts regenerating at the end i was freaking the hell out. NO, not so soon. not yet! i'm not ready!! I thought we had the finale at least!!

Phoenix_mercury

Late af but on the point about Donna, it's more tragic for the doctor as he has to live with it all but as we saw with rose being on earth and back to "normal" after it all is practically smothering to know what's out there and be trapped on earth so hers imo was a mercy because she doesn't have to suffer with the knowledge of what happened with and what's beyond earth ect

Phoenix_mercury

Late af but meh, imo Donna's is bittersweet cz if u remember when rose was stranded on earth even just temporarily she was losing it knowing what was going on out there whereas Donna doesn't have that struggle and can slide back into "normalcy" without the "but out there" wondering and wanting to be back out there, imo it was a mercy(a tragic one but a mercy none the less) and is more tragic for the doctor because he's left being the only one that will remember everything

Faroth

The face of sarah jane at the "exterminate" says it all And the Captain Jack "I'm sorry, we are dead"... He is immortal... And he said "we are dead"

Bumblybeesknees

The moment the Doctor's big move to trace the signal was to use the stethoscope on the cell phone makes me loose it every time. Its such a quick cut away from it too and idk why but its so funny to me
