Yeah, these are probably the weakest episodes in the whole show. Thankfully the next episode slams on the gas and doesn't let up for the rest of the season. I still can't believe they did the out of context eavesdropping cliché with a man who has SUPER HEARING!

oh god i forgot how much this show relies on the "i need to talk with you" - "sure what do yo- *InTeRrUpTiOn Oh nO!*" trope the amount of bumfuck communication that happens to drive the plot forward honestly always pissed me off QoQ

Some extra details: when said building fell on him, and somehow survived yet with horrific injuries, he still refused to let Superman help him and just told him to let him die instead, because he'd rather die than be rescued by Superman...oh, and said robot girlfriend was filled with hidden guns because...why not, I guess?

People with money power are so freaking insecure and this is true in real life. It's so exhausting. I skip ahead almost every time Lex is on screen now. People who aren't willing to admit they're wrong or made a mistake are the biggest threat to humanity, not Superman.
