We get more of the kids trying to prove themselves with a dash of shenanigans from Storkules.

I'm pretty sure the creatures at the temple are supposed to be giant silkworms. This episode is essentially the conclusion of Della's arc. Up to this point, her story has mostly been focused on her learning to be a good parent, and she's generally characterized as being effectively one of the kids, at least when dealing with Scrooge and Beakley. Here, we see her putting her parenting skills to use and dealing with Scrooge as an equal. She even turns down godhood for the sake of boosting her kids' self-esteem. In keeping with this show's uncommonly accurate portrayal of Zeus, him getting briefly overthrown is a recurring theme in Greek mythology. Selene and Heracles actually helped defend Zeus in at least one of these incidents, but I guess these versions of them have had enough after 4,000 years of his bullshit. Not even after falling for nine days into the deepest depths of Tartarus could you hope to find that bar. I mean, Zeus can't even reach Dewey's level of maturity, and he's DEWEY. Scrooge outright called him "the most childish child I know." A LITTLE jealous?! Immediately going mad with the power of friendship is certainly a Webby thing to do. The irony is, if Dewey HAD incorporated some god powers into his dance routine, he could have made a pretty good Muse. Terpsichore might be a little annoyed about another dance god showing up, but it could have worked. Dewey probably had the best shot of any of the kids of actually being granted godhood. I mean, I still doubt Selene would have gone for it and she was probably just holding the auditions for Della's sake, but Dewey did have the best one. Donald wasn't ENTIRELY doing fine on his own, what with the whole garbage situation, but he was certainly doing better than Storkules. Scrooge wasn't actually trying to replace the kids. Like what Webby said that started the whole thing, he was trying to expand the team, not replace it. Unfortunately, Scrooge's poor communication skills (a persistent issue- see the whole Spear of Selene situation) kept the kids from actually realizing that. Scrooge CAN replace the car. That doesn't mean he'll WANT to pay for it.

I always appreciate Hades being portrayed as a level headed, chill dude. And I really love his make up, a nice reference to gothic rockstar, Alice Cooper.

Overall, pretty good reaction Morgan. Yes, Toxic men makes me tired too. And angry, ngl😂. I'm excited for the next Ducktales reaction, cause it's a flashback episode😃. And another thing. In 3 episodes from this one, it's the Christmas episode. I think it hasn't anything to do with the main plot to this season, so if you're okay with saving that till we're in December, I'm fully here for it. Unless you wanna react to these episodes in the order they've been put in, I don't mind that either🙂‍↕️. Whichever you choose I'm here for it👍🏼❤️. Now, before this gets any longer, I'm gonna say goodbye. See ya tomorrow for Hazbin S2 Ep2! Bye👋🏼😁
