Atticus Omundson

Imagine being the poor guy Gothel somehow managed to convince to sleep with her.

SauceyRed

HOLY SHIT LET'S GOOOO!!! This is gonna be GLORIOUS to watch!

Raine

SO EXCITED YESSS

TiroOnaka

There's a Catradora animatic with the Crossing the Line song and it fits so well

Vengerin

I wanted so much for you to reach this point, for both the pass of Cass and for Varian. Both are my babies too, my favorite characters on all the series, also Cass for me is the most complete character, the most developed and damn, Eden Espinosa has such a huge voice, she's my number 1 pick to be Lilith on Hazbin ^^

LikeCat

To any Critters out there: Morgan pulled a Murray with the Mother Gothel reveal „We're goin hunting, and its bastard season"

Zena_Nox

I absolutely love they brought Varian back in season 3. Nevermind his whole redemption arc was gorgeously well handled. Edit: Also Varian's hands didn't end up like Cassandra's because their is a theory that he's connected to the Moonstone. Because his father was their when the king tried to distroy the moonstone, and it's possible that small little bit of power transfered to Varian, which is why he got the blue streak in his hair.

NovaPicses

I've been waiting for this episode cause I knew that this was the episode we lost Cass, but also got Varian back, so I knew it would be emotional for you.

Pamela Kibildis

YES SO EXCITED TO SEE YOUR REACTION TO SEASON 3 Episode 1 Morgan Now Buckle Up Cause This Season Is EPIC & Has The Best Songs Of The Show Ever!! 💛💜💛🥰🥰 Also Love The Blue Hair 💙😊

Raine

I think the beauty of this show is that you can understand both Varian and Cass, why they turned on Rapunzel and how hurt they are. I love both of them and their complexity makes it really interesting to watch. I was so excited for you to see Varian again! I'm so glad he's back finally. So excited for you to see this season🩵

Mikaela Razoog

I know this episode is such an emotional roller coaster! 😂 and Cass and Varian are my favorite characters too! You are definitely not alone there. They’re the poor babies 🥺🥹 Although, unpopular opinion here, I’ll be honest, I don’t really think it’s fair to assume that the king didn’t get him help. He could’ve tried, but it might not have been enough at the time.

mistmistly

I'm glad that Catradora animatic was so many peoples' Roman Empire, because when you were describing the Cassunzel dynamics, I was LITERALLY THINKING OF IT lol 😭😭 also,,, Varian being back was literally so refreshing when I watched this the first time. His absence in season 2 is so rough 😩

Catradora fan

You're rocking that blue hair Morgan 😉😆

Jules Moum

LET'S DO THIS!!! 6:31. Your face = Says it all! 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I remember that THAT was pretty much All of us who saw this! There was a theory out there. "What if Cassandra is Gothel's daughter? They're kinda similar" and I wasn't fully a believer until this moment. I needed proof😅. 9:32-11:20. Morgan off screen. In case anyone wanted to skip ahead😅😉😊 23:39, "I need more Floor Time! I- I'm- 🙌🏻FLOOR TIME🙌🏻! 🙌🏻FLOOR TIME🙌🏻! 🙌🏻FLOOR TIME🙌🏻! 🙌🏻FLOOR TIME🙌🏻!! ✊🏼I'M SO F*CKING PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW✊🏼!!" And you have Every Right To Be Angry!!! Gods, Gothel Abandoned Her Own Freaking Child!!! FOR VANITY!! WTF🤬🤬🤬?! 38:22. It's Ulf the Mime😅 45:30, "Varian? MY SON! MY SON IS BACK😭!!" Yes, He is. Unfortunately, not for good reasons this time😬 1:13:05. The Hurt Incantation returns. It's been a while since we heard This creepy melody. 1:13:39, "Oh, good thing he's had his f*cking gloves on!" Yeah. I think that Cassandra was wearing gloves made of clothing fabric. Like wool or something, while Varian's gloves are perhaps made from rubber or something like that. That's what I think. But I'm SO glad he didn't get his arms turned into crisp or charcoal😱! 1:14:22, "All it said was, I'm so Proud of you Varian." AAAAAWWW😭😭😭. THAT'S EVERYTHING HE EVER WANTED TO HEAR!!! MY HEART IS SO FULL RIGHT NOW😭💖!! Last edit: I loved this whole reaction. I was super excited to see this!! And I cannot wait to see you continue this season! I'M SO HAPPY that you got Varian back. And you're rocking that blue hair💙. I Am more used to your purple hair, but I dig it😅. And it's perfect for season 2 of Hazbin Hotel😁👍🏼. Anyways, I'm SUPER excited to see your reaction video tomorrow of Hazbin Hotel!!! I'll see you then Morgan. Bye👋🏼😁

coffincourt

Finally my darling boy returns!!

Jeal Tar

I expected Morgan to react to the line "And for us, If we're over that's fine" from Crossing The Line

SonjaSparkle

The punching bag is back! I knew it!!!! This reaction right here is why you are my favorite reactor on youtube, patreon, whatever! Spending ten minutes pinning the face of a stupid B*** to a punching bag, lying on the floor and punching it again and again, yapping and yelling all your feelings and thoughts into the mic, you rock Morgan! That's why we love you. This episode is easily in my top three from the entire show. Crossing The Line is amazing in choreography, lyrics and Eden Espinosa is IN-CRE-DI-BLE, those high notes at the end could have destroyed the bridge even without the sword. Honestly, I don't understand people who would hate on Cassandra. She is acting out of pain and trauma and obviously cannot respond to rational reasoning right now. Much like Varian as you noted. He was also driven by pain and despair but he came around and can we talk about the fact that he F*CKING WANTED TO SACRIFICE HIMSELF????!!!! He literally thought he was too far gone to be forgiven and when given the chance, he would have let himself die with the airship! That catharsis though at the end when he finally got to see his father freed and hear him say he was proud of him...and now Rapunzel also realized that broken bridges can be mended. I think getting Varian back as her friend has given her the hope she needed that her relationship with Cass may not be lost for good.

Siri2319

I will NEVER forgive disney for canceling the plans for the Varian spinoff 😭

Kay

Because I also watch and enjoy your Ducktales reactions, I can't help but imagine you saying this: "Not every Character I love turns EVIL, some are just WiLdLY MiSuNDeRStOOD!!" (Dr. Gearsloose) you could get it on a t-shirt... add more characters' faces as you go through new shows (COLLECT THEM ALL!) lol

FuzzBird

Ahh you're so lucky you only had to wait a week to find out why Cass took the moon stone. I was loosing my mind for months! 🤣 I was hoping the door had showed her that rupunzel would be hurt if she took it so she did it to protect her or something. I did not see the Gothel being her mum thing coming at all! I remember there being a joke theory in the fandom that Shorty was Cass's dad cos he hit on Gothel in the movie 🤣

Doctor Babylon

Cassandra's betrayal is something the series in retrospect was building up to since the very first episode. When Cassandra begs Rapunzel not to tell anyone how she got her hair back (and more importantly about Cass' involvement in the incident) for fear she'd be sent off to a convent and they'd never see each other again. By the end of the episode Rapunzel tells Eugene anyway. In hindsight Cass showed real vulnerability when she asked Rapunzel to keep that secret, and Rapunzel disregarded that and prioritized Eugene's feelings instead. Nobody ever puts Cassandra first.

Chloe Small

Epic has F*ckboy McGee, Tangled has Manbun McGee... I don't know what's gonna happen if you decide to react to The Ghost and Molly McGee xD

Floating on a Willow

I genuinely feel SO bad for Cassandra, she's one of the smartest in the group and NO ONE listens to her. She 100% was valid for feeling upset and doing what she did.

Floating on a Willow

i didnt think that AT ALL. I didn't even know that was a possibility when i first watched the season LMAO

Doctor Babylon

S1E4 Challenge of the Brave also had some important foreshadowing for Cass's arc. That's where we for the first time saw a glimpse of how Cassandra's hard work and accomplishments are overlooked because everyone is enamored with Rapunzel despite Rapunzel not trying hard and treating everything as a game. We also got a glimpse at the resentment that, even at that early point, was already started to build against Rapunzel.

Meghan Ross

I generally felt so bad for Cassandra this season. So happy that Varian back. I absolutely love Jeremy Jordan. Little bit of a spoiler, but when we get a little further into the season, you’ll understand why so many people want Cassandra’s voice actor to voice Lilith in Hazbin

Vex Valor

I have been so excited for this episode for you to finally get the reveal who Cassandra's mother is. I was shocked by the reveal as well and in retrospect, it was kinda obvious and subtly hinted at throughout the show. We were tricked by a children's show. ):< I think Cassandra had an understandable crashout after learning who her mother was. She was 4 in the flashback because Cassandra states somewhere in like season 1 that she is 4 years older than Rapunzel, so she probably simply forgot and probably never even knew her mother's name. I doubt I knew my mom's name when I was 4. Seeing the scene where the Captain immediately adopt Cassandra always breaks my heart. Also I love the blue hair.

Tubby

half this episode feels like the writers noticed they fucked around doing nothing for most of s2 so they now had to have a bunch of stuff that was supposed to have already happened happen now, as quickly as possible in 40min like, i love varian and think him being redeemed makes plenty sense, but MANNNNN did they speedrun it. and also his dad getting freed. just add that in the last 2min, sure, that won't mess with the pacing, don't worry. also them getting all the way back to corona in literally one screen. not even a montage, just "they were here and now they're back :)" when ALL OF THE LAST SEASON was them doing that same distance genuinely baffeling anyway haha you're a smurf now

SauceyRed

48:05 Sword guy fighting Eugene (whose feet are literally stuck) was dumb, he could've tried to strike Eugene's legs and feet instead of blade-locking.

Sekiro

Cassandra becoming a villain honestly is forced

Jared Bichler

I was surprised that Gothel would keep a kid around, and I was even more surprised that it was Cass. But, honestly, the woman had been around a long time; she had to do something to keep busy.

Jared Bichler

I understand why Cass did what she did. I know what it's like to give something your all, only to be told you don't fit the mold. To watch yourself become unnecessary.

Jared Bichler

8:48 This is one of the reasons I watch. Your passion adds to the story.

Jared Bichler

Really poor use of the word, "wait" Rapunzel.

Jared Bichler

1:02:13 Varian! You've got to start labeling these things!

SauceyRed

Before Morgan's reactions to Tangled I never realized the overlap with the She-Ra fandom lmao I was gonna say that I wasn't watching either show while they were airing, but based on the fact that Tangled ended in 2019 and She-Ra in 2020, I'm actually not sure if I watched them after they ended or if I watched while they were just close to ending. Either way, I wasn't active in the fandoms of either shows, that I know for sure, so that's also probably why I didn't know about the overlap.

Elise

Me just waiting for Cass to say Catras line "All this happened because of YOU. "

marauderluverz (Luci)

I was so excited to see you react to the season 3 premier because I knew how much you were going to feel upset for Cass and the floor time was totally valid, and at the same time I knew youd be so thrilled to see Varian again and the resolution of his poor dad being trapped in the amber for an entire freaking year. I frequently have conversations with my sibling about how messed up it is that the king let Varian be cell mates with a grown adult who obviously groomed him to be used as a tool in his scheme to take over Corona. Having baby varian back helps to make up a little bit for losing Cass in this way. Also, as a hard-core Rapunzel and Eugene fan, I have ro say I sympathize with Cass and Varian so much. My only issue with Cass is that she blames Rapunzel for being kidnapped and Rapunzel was also abused for all those years. If she didnt have to be a villain they could've bonded so much over the shared trauma they have. But Cass is also so valid because she cant put that anger anywhere else, plus shes being manipulated. So excited to see what youll think about the coming episodes! Here's to season 3!

Ronja the fairy

I love how I convinced my mom to buy me your patreon just to watch this

Gabi

I love the blue hair, Morgan! I'll come back to this when I finish the episode reaction 🙂 Edit 1: I love that all you needed to put Mother Gothel on the punching bag was literally her introduction as Cassandra's mom 😂 2: If you don't cry at baby Cassandra's reprise, there is something seriously wrong with you 😭 3: Right...she "ran off" from taking care of Cass to take care of Rapunzel...riiiight... 4: Floor time would've been a good idea for me too...and yikes, hope the punching bag didn't hit you on the way down 😅 (and we all hate her) 5: Yup, that about sums it up. 6: No. If we had to cry, so do you. That's how it works 🤷‍♀️ 7: I can't really blame Cass either. 8: I hate it too. But again, I can't really blame Cass for feeling the way she does. 9: FINALLY YOU GET TO SEE ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS OF THE ENTIRE SERIES!!! 10: They didn't succeed in turning me against Cass either. 11: I swear you and I are the same person. I'm a huge fan of Catra and always felt so bad for her. 12: Nobody wants to put too much faith into Shorty. 13: Because then we wouldn't get the plot of everybody ignoring Cass to the point of stealing the Moonstone lol. Though the hot air balloon would most definitely have been much more efficient. 14: They put all the insufferable characters in this episode to make all of US suffer. 15: They gut punched all of us with Varian's return. (and yes they most definitely failed him by sticking him in a cell with a GROWN ASS MAN) 16: "He's a hurt child who just wants his father back." You hit the nail on the head there, Morgan.
