Okay first thing….WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?! ROSIE IT WAS ROSIE?! WE ALL THOUGHT IT WAS LILITH AND IT WAS ROSIE?! and second I think the reason why Alastor made “you can’t harm Charlie” as part of his deal with Vox is because Charlie still owes him that favor from the deal he and Charlie made back in season 1 episode 7. And that favor is probably a major part of Alastor’s grand plan.

AZTEC NINJA

This whole episode just raised more questions than we already have. What happened 7 years ago? Why does Rosie care about Alastor staying at the hazbin hotel and/or Charlie? And why the fuck won't Charlie stay off the fucking camera?! 🤣🤣🤣

Adam Grunther

I think Niffty might be my favorite character now. That anime part of her song had me in fucking stitches! Kimiko Glenn (like always) absolutely killed it! 😂

Jules Moum

I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED TO SEE YOUR REACTION TO THIS!! You Have No Idea🤩!! 9:26. Agreed! I would take, a cactus🌵... and shove it up Valentino's a**, till he pukes🤮 it out! F*ck him!! 11:05. Speaking of Poking a bear with a Stick😶🤣 13:27. OOOOOOOH!!! Velvette is SLAYING that hairstyle🤩🤩🤩!!! 13:29, "Oh Hello! I'm F*cking With That Haircut!" RIGHT🤩!! I love that hairstyle on Velvette❤️‍🔥! If it weren't for the fact that I'm letting my hair grow out, and aren't planning on cutting it short. I'm 2/3 to my goal. If it weren't for that, I would ask my hairdresser to FR cut it like that😃🙂‍↕️! I have saved a picture of that hairstyle, so that I can show it to her in a couple years! Plus, Velvette is currently my favorite of the Vees! 21:13-21:19. YOUR FACE🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!!! 21:20, "ROSIE IS HIS F*CKING.. ROSIE IS THE PERSON HE MADE A DEAL WITH?! AND TO BE THE STRONGEST SINNER IN HELL IT SEEMS?! Dude really has a complex for being the most powerful!" Yeah! He Does😂! When I saw this yesterday, it took me, like 30 seconds to realize what was said! And when I realized, I was like "WHAT?! Ro- Rosie is HIS MASTER?! WTF?!" 😂😂😂😂 22:06. Same...ish. I had 3 theories. 1. It's Lillith, but that's Too Obvious. 2. It's Eve. We haven't seen her at all. Or 3. It's Roo! She's the essens of Hell so any deal with her, would make you incredibly powerful! Rosie wasn't even Close to be on my list!! 23:45-24:02. Just from this, the "Daises" song from Black Gryph0n (Highly recommend that song to anyone who hasn't heard it yet), is looking pretty accurate to me! 24:42, "Oooh, I like- 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I like the French accent there. Ooooh!" I was surprised, for 1 second, that he spoke French! But then I realized he lived in New Orleans, and if I'm not mistaken, there are French-Americans living there. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry. 26:57. Right there! If you stop the episode at the right time, you'll see a Rose pattern in those pink lines. Make sense, because, ya know, Rosie. For Alastor it's Voodoo symbols, I believe. 39:32. Wait, was all that a stab at reactors👀?! It seems like it, Idk😅 46:20, "Holy Sh*t! Watch out Eminem. Kimiko Glenn is coming for your a**🤣!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 46:50, "Can you help differently? Okay!" *switches over to Japanese*🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣! 46:55, "😲🤣🤣🤣🤣. I Made The Comment About Anime To Early! 🤣🤣🤣🤣" Yeah🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. You freaking manifested that sh*t😂😂! 53:25. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!! The fact that Nifty, who is probably 1'5" tall, and probably weigh as much as a f*cking twig, can just Pick Up Husk, And Run while carrying Him, is hilarious to me🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 56:21, "I thought it was just like, at first I thought it was just a poker thing, but it's a whole magician act! That's so f*cking Sick😃!" Yeah it really is! I love getting more of the different abilities the sinners have. And also (this is based on old lore I've heard), in life, Husk was known as "The Magician" in the gamling world, I believe. So this, is a cool touch😎. And Velvette, is probably a witch. We've seen her manifest weapons like arrows and knifes in this fight, which looks like witchcraft to me. So we have TV vs. Radio. Witch vs. Magician. And Guns vs. Knife. I think each of these have met their fighting match🤔😃 58:06, "What🤨? Husk and Nifty, I'm not that shocked by. Especially Nifty! But protecting Charlie as well? I did not see that coming!" None of us really did. I bet it's all part of Alastor's plan. I just need to Crack his F*cking Code🤔🤔🤔! 59:20. Yeah. Alastor knows what he's doing. He's giving Vox, a deal to good to be true! He's giving himself up, on a silver platter!! ALASTOR IS DEFINITELY SCHEMING SOMETHING!!! I can FEEL it in my bones!!! 1:02:28, ".. as a fellow Asexual.." I'm not Ace, I'm Bi, but I agree with you. I don't need to see that kinda sh*t at all😖! I wouldn't want to be in Alastor's potion right now. I don't need to S** happen, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!! Oh Alastor. You poor devil. I feel bad for him🙁 1:08:10. I think he did. There have been hints here and there, but I think This is the closest we'll Ever get it Confirmed!! Last edit (this got really long😅): So I obviously LOVED this reaction!!! We got a few of the Big theories confirmed or answered. I love it every time we get lore on any of the characters🤩. I will say, after episodes 3&4 Charlie has gone from 3rd place to 5th place on my Favorite Characters list. I loved the fight scene between The Vees and Alastor's band. It was freaking Epic!! I'm SYKED for the rest of this season🤩🤩🤩!!! Anyways, I'll see you in your next reaction Morgan. Peace✌🏼😁

I saw a theory earlier that I think explains Alastors plan pretty well. He always planned to be captured by Vox, as now that Vox "owns" him, he's no longer the most powerful sinner. That could very well make Alastor and Rosie's deal null and void, or it could force Rosie to give Alastor more power to defeat Vox.

the average funnyman

Obviously Alaster is planning something, some sort of work around and seems to be biding his time with the V's for now waiting for the perfect opportunity and like I want to believe he cares about nifty, husk, and Charlie, but then I have to pull back a sec and go back to his conversation with Rosie and even his banter with lucifer when he quit. Power seems to be the only thing he cares about, being on top and staying on top. If I'm wrong I'm wrong but I'm curious to hear differing opinions

Dinker

So here's my current unhinged idea; Rosie is Lilith. Lilith and Alastor were building their army and Adam came down promising to exterminate everyone. One of his conditions was he wanted a side piece in Heaven on call. So she did a body swap with actual Rosie. Alastor's actual task is to get Charlie into Heaven. Maybe the favor Alastor will ask of Charlie is for her to choose to go to Heaven and leave her friends.... Just random wild thoughts.

Raine

You stared at me like I had answers to why Alastor made Vox that deal and I was like "I don't know either, sorry"😂

Yoshinatorsaurus

I love how you punched Val so hard, his antenna ripped off. 🤣 GLORIOUS RETRIBUTION!

Raine

I really feel that Vox lied about being cult leader. Current Vox - absolutely believable. Past Vox - no way. He was way too cute for a cult leader😅 Really, I don't even like Vox but he was so adorable in that flashback for real😂 I think Rosie wants to get to heaven for some reason and Alastor is supposed to make sure that happens. That's why he works for the Hotel and makes that deal about Charlie - to make sure she succeeds and open a way to heaven. I've spent so much time trying to figure Alastor out and I'm still failing😂

Robert Hunter

Could Rosie be actually be Roo in disguise? I'm still bewildered as to why Alastor allowed Vox to capture him, unless there's a reason behind this madness. Who knows?

Robert Hunter

The reason Val's picture keeps flying off is he's scared of Morgan's rage, Punch him harder!!!

Jules Moum

I felt that too😅. I was so nervous😂

Jules Moum

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Jules Moum

There is probably a reason. One that we haven't figured out yet🤔. Argh, I feel like we're missing a few pieces to the puzzle🧩, that will make it make sense! Idk when or how, but I'm sure we'll get answers all in good time

Jules Moum

🤣🤣🤣🤣. Yeah! He's afraid of them🤣🤣🤣

Atticus Omundson

The fact that Niffty has the same VA as Izzy from MLP G5...

GreenJelloWorm

Alastor is definitely a character who has the capacity to care about people to an extent. I do think it's possible that he genuinely likes/liked people like Mimzy, Nifty, Husk, and possibly even Charlie and Vox. But it seems to me that his desire for power and self-determination supersedes his ability to care about people. I think that's why he was so mean to Vox in the flashback. Alistair's greatest fear is to appear weak. If he thinks relying on others shows weakness then it is 100% projection. Likely I think he was afraid of someone getting too close and finding out about his weakness (Rosie) and so deliberately pushed Vox away. OR he was so insecure about the idea of needing someone that he pushed Vox away. He also may have been trying to "teach" Vox a "lesson" in the same way he was trying to "teach" Charlie during the Hello Rosie episode in season 1 when he mocked her for hiding in her room.

Stephanie Rose Allen

I think that maybe Rosie is Lilith in disguise It's a theory I heard floating around in the more I look at it the more it makes sense She kind of has the same body type as Lilith She's way into musicals And some of her dialogue almost feels like foreshadowing in the context of this theory "Well who HASN'T thought of eating their first husband? I certainly would have if he didn't taste so bad!" "Romance? My specialty!" "It can be difficult to admit to things you're not proud of. Especially when those things hurt the ones you love." Also, she's kind of taken on a maternal role for Charlie . . . I don't know I just feel like the theory has a lot of credence

Yoshinatorsaurus

And Lena from Ducktales. No wonder Morgan loves both of them.

Willow 404

1:15:41 NO EXACTLYYYY i saw so many people assuming that was Angel bc in the trailer is was shown right after the other shot with Angel and Vox standing behind him. but like?? Even if you forgot eye colors (which Alastor is the only one with this specific pair of colors), you could SEE the monocle in the frame😭

AZTEC NINJA

When Charlie was on the news we all had the same thoughts..."CHARLIE SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Meghan Ross

Pretty sure you end up seeing this for Vivian of talking about Rosie and Alastor’s little deal being the first step in a bigger story. Plus, a lot of people are asking how she can be that powerful and Viv said that the answers will be revealed next season so I’m really scared. Also, if I remember right a while back the person who plays Mimzy, posted it on their Facebook that they were doing the lines for season three so maybe she’ll have some insight about Alastor’s past. But I’m more worried about next week’s episode especially episode five Viv said that one was jampacked with action. And if I remember right, those who got to attend the New York Broadway production they said that Christian and Jeremy got to perform a duet with each other. Meaning we’re gonna get a Vox and Lucifer fight duet!

Emma Floyd

I think I have a idea on what Alastor’s plan might be. He wants to break out of his deal with Rosie, which was made on him being the most powerful sinner. If he’s powerLESS to escape Vox, it’s a loophole. I have no clue if it would work though. As for his deal with Vox- he specifically said Vox could not lay his hands on Charlie Morningstar. I’d be willing to bet he was throwing his fate to a gamble on Charlie coming after him and by taking Vox out of the fight it gives her a better chance at winning a fight. Little does he know I think it won’t be Charlie to come after him, but Lucifer. We got the shot in the trailer of Lucifer burning Vee Tower, it’s possible that Charlie found out that Alastor quit because of Lucifer and they make Lucifer go get him just like how they sent Husk after Angel.

SauceyRed

1:15:40 I still don't think it looks like Alastor's eye tbh lmao, I can't put my finger on it exactly, but with how zoomed in it is my brain just perceives it as different. Originally I didn't even think it was the eye of any of the cast we'd seen, I expected it to be someone random or someone we hadn't met yet.

SauceyRed

To me it still doesn't look entirely like his eye ngl. Like yes the monocle is there and the eye color is right, but idk maybe it's the eyebrows or how zoomed in it is, or the additional wrinkles at the bottom? I can't put my finger on it, but I genuinely thought it was gonna be some random character or something.

Yoshinatorsaurus

Well, considering the statue we saw of Lilith with Lucifer and Charlie this episode right after Rosie's number looks exactly like the "mystery woman" in Heaven, I think it's safe to say Lilith is in Heaven. Maybe Rosie is working with Roo/Eve, though.

Yoshinatorsaurus

I really doubt Alastor sacrificed himself to protect them out of the kindness of his heart, because he has none. It's always ulterior motives with him. I'm almost certain this ties into the plan he came up with to complete his deal with Rosie, which must involve Charlie in some way. What that could be, I have no idea, but he's definitely playing some sort of gambit. My best guess is it's to bait Charlie and/or Vox somehow.

FernAndGames

This is my theory, too! Esp after you mentioned that bit from the trailer, I'd totally forgotten about that 😮

FernAndGames

Alastor kept the roach crown Nifty made him in S1!! You can see it hanging from his mirror in the 1st scene he appears in when he's smoking; dude def cares about her if nobody else

Reverie Mephisto

Yeah, Alastor definitely sees Charlie as his big ticket item out of his deal with Rosie. Only time will tell how this plays out. He's totally a tortured soul now.

Edge squared

That I will try to detail here. Firstly--Alastor's "oh that's clever" and the way he's going to break his deal with Rosie. From the end of Season One, it is clear that Alastor didn't intend to fulfill whatever deal he had. During his crashout segment of "the show must go on," he talked about a "back door" to his deal. With Rosie's song, he never actually capitulated and said he would complete her task. He just said he would do "it on his own." Whatever it was. Later he went to a statue of a Morningstar family and tried to find a way out of his deal, not by completing it, but by circumnavigating it. He literally called the solution he found "clever" and therefore I believe it's very obscure and has many steps. Cut to Alastor seemingly without reason picking a fight with Vox. The fight leads to a 3-on-1 until Niffty and Husk come in at which point Alastor challenges Vox to a 1-v-1 where Alastor is sure to win, but then Niffty gets in trouble and Alastor immediately calls the fight off. This is where I think Alastor's master plan comes in to play. He tells Vox he will be his poisoner as long as he doesn't "lay a hand" on Charlie, but anyone who is passingly familiar with Hazbin Hotel knows that Vox, as a Media Overlord, could destroy Charlie without even being in the same zip-code as her. So Alastor stipulating that isn't to protect Charlie, but to give him an Out, later. Anyway, the rest of episode four is spent dedicating how much Vox is obsessed with Alastor, so I think Alastor is going to use that to turn Vox against HIS COMRADES UNDER THE GUISE THAT VOX WOULD BE STRONGEST ON HIS OWN, and technically Alastor would be correct because he needs Vox to be stronger than him so that Alastor's deal with Rosie get broken, because he will no longer be the strongest Sinner in Hell. At Which point, he will likely call on his favor to Charlie to do like a dance number or something with Vox, which will officially end Alastor's deal with Vox, since Vox technically "laid his hands on Charlie" then. And now Alastor has all the power and none of the leashes, which sets him up to be the villain of season three, and Vox, who is technically now stronger than him, but alone because Alastor convinced him to separate himself from the other V's (via death or any other way) can't face up to him because he still has Niffty and Husk under his belt. Meanwhile, Rosie is def not who she claims to be, because if any Overlord could make anyone the "strongest sinner in hell" for the price of a soul, than that's the only deal people would make. Therefore, the only reason Rosie could make Alastor the strongest Sinner is because she has equal or greater power than that, which makes Rosie either Real Lilith or ROO, (Root of all Evil.). And both of them are related to Lucifer, which is why Alastor hated him on site. Vox pointedly asked Charlie if he and/or Angel could be redeemed for what they'd done, so I think season three will be an exploration of whether Alastor could be redeemed for who he is, or if there's a limit on redemption.

Stephanie Rose Allen

Well I guess we'll find out ☺️ Prepare for a lot of gloating if I am right though 🥳

Jeal Tar

I'll be honest I say the leaks ages ago and when I saw that Rosie was who Alastor has a deal with I was so annoyed and confused.

Emily M

"Does Rosie have a dark side?" Huh, the lady who EATS PEOPLE has a dark side? Who coud have guessed?

Blackbirdlele

This is just me thinking but with Alastor's ears at first I thought they were down because he was uncomfortable, which that could still be the case but I did a little digging on why deers have their ears down. It stated that deers tend to put their ears down when they are submissive but that's just my theories on why his ears are down during that entire scene so idk.

Gabriella Vines

I was literally thinking: hey guys let's not feel bad for him he just died and in his past life he was a cult leader - so his sins are still "fresh" if that makes sense. He is in hell, and if he was in a cult like those mega church type things it explains the TV character design.

Vex Valor

I think Alastor was projecting onto Vox because he had Rosie give him power and he viewed it as Vox trying to take some of that power from him by offering a partnership. As for Alastor's plan, I definitely think Charlie is protected under whatever rules Rosie has placed on him so she needed to be included for it to not conflict with the deal he already had with Rosie and it would automatically fulfill Rosie's rules since it was the Vees that kept making him have to work. I do think Alastor cares about Nifty on some level, but also he probably doesn't want the souls he owns to be taken out. They are useful and powerful allies to have. This episode did make me a Radiostatic fan, though. I am here for their tea.

Megan

I never saw the leaks but when I heard the leak about Rosie I thought "lol people think this is a real leak? Obviously it's fake as shit. No WAY Rosie owns him lol" God I wish I had been right.

Zefram Mann

"You'd be nothing without the other Vees!" - An entitled child who got his powers from cannibal mommy. Yeah, Alestor is starting to sound more like the Movie Theater Demon with how hard he's projecting.

Zefram Mann

People get so invested they straight up forget this takes place in Hell.

Zefram Mann

The thing on my mind is, "How could Rosie make Alestor the "strongest" sinner if she's a sinner too? How could she make him stronger than her?" But what if Rosie isn't actually a sinner?

Jeal Tar

Yeah people are already theorizing that Rosie is Lilith in disguise or she's working with Lilith in some way.

nuxzina

i cried when vox said “since we’re friends” :(

DragonBlaze

Alastor does care. He wants something from Charlie. And the Rosie is the one who ordered him to be at the Hotel. Either A, she wants him to get the Apple, or B she wants him to get the key to Roo's cell.

LikeCat

I was like Morgan „Why do I feel sorry for him?"

ohmilla

Well wearing that shirt for this episode wasn't for nothing!

Suplee215

So agree hazbin hotel got a lot of people who assume their theories are right.

Kristina Sullivan

I'm not asexual, but if I saw people perform "spicy time" in front of me, I would not appreciate it either lol
