It was really interesting how we got to explore some of our characters' deepest fears and that Cassandra was able to attack Corona from a distance. As for that tiny black rock not changing, I think how it works was that she was using the black rocks as a base and encasing them with the red and growing from them. That's why Rapunzel and Varian had to go through the tunnels to stop them at the root. So it was just a small sliver that had yet to be encased and grown from.

I also really loved the song in this episode! You can never go wrong with James Monroe Iglehart singing, lol! Also, yea, this episode was a hard watch for me the first time I saw it too.. I was so sad for Varian and Rapunzel when they admitted what their fears were 🥲

Really enjoyed your reaction to this one! Its a great epsiode showing some bonding between varian and rapunzel and I think they really needed this one. Also, Cass's parts are so interesting. Excited to get to some more plot episodes.

I think deep down, the characters we tend to like, are either who we wish we could've been or reminds of ourselves. In my case, my top 4 favorite character's are Vaggi from Hazbin, Loona from Helluva, Hunter from The Owl House, and Katara from Avatar the last airbender.
