Twilight picking half the orchard by herself makes one wonder why more unicorns aren't farmers.

Zena_Nox

Twilight is stronger than most unicorns with magic most only have the magic ability to levitate and fullfill their special talents or jobs. Most can't live that many apples at once. Plus Earth ponies have a stronger connection to the earth and growing plants, flowers or crops than the peagus and unicorns

13:30 It's never really outright stated but I always assumed that she was trying to practice that particular spell by using it whenever the opportunity arose

Phoenix_mercury

Yeah, learn something new-> practice as much as possible to get good at said thing🤷

Whoooo! Yes this is a great series for destressing after other works! So, in BTS trivia, we have one of the rare cases of executive meddling actually ending up being a good thing. Lauren's original pitch for the episode was 'Applebonking', that they harvested apples by ramming head first into the trees, and thus a lot of AJ's issues throughout the ep were caused by the repeated concussions. The execs thought this was something that would be far, far plausible that kids would try to replicate and get hurt doing, so she changed it to applebucking instead. Fandom wise, this ep is responsible for the defining characteristic of Best Pony, her utter love of muffins! Praise be unto the Muffin Queen! And on the topic of muffins, people have recreated the Baked Bads IRL and.... they ended up not being half bad..... as long as you use gummy worms instead of real ones.

14:54-15:14. This part right, sounds a lot like myself😅. I don't like asking for help. Not because I think I don't need it, but because then I feel like a burden. Idk. Probably my autism kicking in 20:35. At some point, my frustration would have enough, and I would just write down what I'm trying to say😅 28:22 Absolutely true!!! I know the feeling all too well😵‍💫 Last edit: Yeah, know your limits before you hurt yourself... or someone else. And there's no shame in asking for help, especially when you need it. I learned that the hard way. Overall, this was a nice reaction Morgan. I love that this is slowly becoming a comfort show for you. Or at the very least, gives you a break from traumatic shows like RWBY and Stranger Things😁. Looking forward to more, and I'll see you in your next reaction. Peace✌🏼

I don’t know whether this is a good thing or not but I alwase find my self relating with apple jack in this ep. (In case you were wondering yes I am the therapist friend)

"Who's a silly pony who's a silly pony...... Applejack, Applejack " Hhihih the gen 1 song gose so well with this episod.🧡💛

5:00 Professor Oobleck? (Energywise maybe 😅) but I would say it's closer to Nora 🤔 11:50 there might be more truth to that, than you think... 😅 13:30 Twilight teleporting here could serve two purposes. First, if you remember the last episode, she accidentally teleported herself and Spike into the library. That was the first time she teleported two beings at once, and both of them ended up singed. So this might simply be her practicing and improving that skill. 🤔 The second reason could be... saving a bit of animation budget, as they really had not much of it 😅 26:55 You got that reference! great!

gummi worms is definitely a better choice here 😅

Yeah I see myself in Applejack as well. I like being able to do things on my own and most of the time I usually can do it or I at least try to. But there are times when I look at a task and go "Ok I can't do this by myself. Someone please help me." Like when I had fibroid surgery this last November, I was out of work for 4 weeks and that first week I did need help even getting up to move around.

Morgan using MLP to take the edge of Stranger Things reactions. Mosco is using MLP to recover from Invincible. Keeping a fluffy show like this in the lineup is therapeutic. 😅

Ash Vander

I def think the fluffy, therapeutic vibes are reason enough to keep watching the show but I also want to add that (especially in the beginning) a lot of the lessons of the show are things that seem super obvious to us because we're adults who already have a ton of life experience. This being a kids show, a lot of the lessons are going to feel like that BUT I do think you can also view it as Twilight and her friends are all learning what it's like to be each other's best friend. The rest of the main six, haven't considered each other BEST friends, and didn't rely on each other in those ways before until after Twilight showed up to Ponyville, so they're all learning lessons in those ways too! (and as an extra note in regards to Spike, I always viewed him as like an adopted younger brother to Twilight. Might be considered spoilers, but we do eventually meet Twilight's parents and I always just thought Spike considered them his adopted parents in way, though I can't say more or I will get into spoilers!)

11:43 oh jesus Morgan I already feel bad for you

Trixie

Rainbow Dash getting sent into orbit reminds me of Jaune in season 1 of rwby. Hope she has a landing strategy.

Oh Klahoma

If one Pinkie pie overwhelms you, than there’s a future episode that will really take it up a notch😂

Sparrow

Yeah… I have a bad habit of not asking for help until the damage has already been done, so this episode hit close to home. It’s ironic because I knew I related to AJ as a kid, but I didn’t know just how much. Also, I can so relate to needing MLP as a distraction from traumatizing media. (Tony Stark is my comfort character: iykyk, and I’m assuming most people do know.) Also, you should do your own research into this, of course, but there is such thing as a sensory processing disorder that could be causing your difficulty with hearing people. I think I might struggle with that too due to being autistic, but I’m also someone who needs to get their ears consistently cleaned because of buildup—it’s a genetic thing.
