It's always nice to see ponies from previous episodes in their element. Fancy Pants is a chill guy who really is just doing his thing, bringing other ponies up instead of pulling the ladder behind him.

I think Filthy Rich (the pony, not his EQG counterpart) also qualifies as an okay guy who just has terrible taste in mares. I'm not saying anything more since Morgan hasn't met him yet, although the ep is coming soon! Hopefully my comment doesn't come off as a spoiler.

To be fair with the servant, rarity is known to tip using not bits but gems, and far we know, a simple gem costs 50 bits minimum so rarity is actually rich already by her own ability to find gems

Jet Set and Upper Crust can go suck a lemon! They're snobs. But Fancy Pants and his girlfriend Fleur Delise are the real elite. He is a rich and influence pony but he's one of the good ones. I think we see him a few more times in the show. Oh and here's the duet of Pinkie Party Cannon. She never has a party without it from then on.....ever. Like if you wanted to get her a gift, get her confetti for that cannon. She will thank you for it.

A great episode! I think you'll really like the songs going forward, like you said, the composers are awesome and this show has some real bangers. Personally I think the good season 2 songs started with "May the best pet win", but I would definitely rank this song a bit higher. Top fandom memes to come out of this episode? - Pinkies Party Canon is #1 for sure. - The grey pony playing Violin became a big fan favorite. She was seen in the season 1 finale. Her name is Octavia! - Twilights silly dance became a recurring joke! That it now just the canon way she dances. - Not really a meme, but Fleur Dis Lee, the white unicorn with the pink mane hanging off of Fancy Pants, was headcanoned to be his undercover bodyguard.
