Tales of the Melandren Corporation - Introduction Author's Note (Patreon)

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

A few years ago, I started releasing an episodic narrative about a group of characters working inside the Melandren Corporation.

For those that are not playing the ever-evolving RP game on lockedinlace (and why aren't you doing this... it's free... try it)... The Melandren Corporation is an ongoing shared universe fiction. Thousands and thousands of pages of narrative have existed within this universe at this point... seriously... you should go try it if you haven't... I'll wait here.

Ok... now that we're all on the same page... a few years ago I was writing this serialized long-form novel that took a group of characters at M&R, and weaving together a narrative. It was taking some influence from many narratives over the years... and refining it into a new novel that I was quite excited to write.

And about five or six chapters in, the site crashed... and I never got back to it. There were several chapters unreleased and never seen and an outline for around one hundred chapters compromising book one.

I uncovered it under a rock today... skimmed through it... and I really want to continue this... especially as I work on the revamp of the site and find myself in that world a bit more.

So you may have noticed, I'm releasing old Mistress Motivational Posters (from the vault) every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. My plan is to have these original chapters release Tuesday and Thursdays for the next few weeks. This first batch of chapters will be open to all members... and then when we get into the 'new stuff' it will upgrade into the Teacher Pet+ tiers until the full book is ready for release.

The first chapters are a lot of exposition... it let's you meet the characters... and there is a lot of moving pieces in these first beats. This is very much a tale of 'everyone is so focused on their part that they fail to see the big things going wrong'. For those that like serialized stories... I hope you enjoy the drip... and for everyone else, read it in chunks as you get the time.

I think it's gonna be a fun ride.
