First of all Happy New Year!

I hope you'll all having a pleasant time despite the current situation.

Edit: Upon several requests I decided to keep it open for general support. There won’t be anymore monthly downloads or guaranteed output though.

As 2020 comes to an end, my patreon will too. Next charge will be the last one before I am closing my patreon. I've been thinking about it for a while now since it's really hard to keep up nowadays. I'm sorry if this is sudden.

I will leave it open until the end of January for everyone to finish their downloads.

Thanks everyone who supported me this year, despite my lowered output. It meant alot that you stayed without rewards sometimes. Thanks everyone who supported me through the previous years as well. :3

Quite unfortunate to see, but also understandable due to the circumstances surrounding the world and your hand problem. Enjoyed the ride of the quality art that was produced by you. Best of wishes to you and your future.

Very sad to hear this, I hope everything goes well for you in the future. I'm sure that if you ever become comfortable to release on patreon again, your supporters will make a return. Will your gumroad stay up or will it go down too?

T_T This is a tragic way to start the new year, but I wish you the best wherever you go after this.

As in retirement are you fully retiring or just leaving patreon? I fully respect your decisions however it’s also sad to see one fo my favorite artist leaving. Nonetheless Happy New Year Katz!!!

I'm devastated reading this. You're absolutely one of my favorite artists and I really didn't mind (and still don't mind) supporting you even with the lower rewards. With your hand/wrist condition, though, I definitely understand why you'd want to stop your Patreon and reduce the pressure on you to draw. I've had a lovely time being your patron. I actually joined Christmas Eve 2017, so it's just over 3 years for me! Every piece of artwork of yours has brought and continues to bring a smile to my face. I particularly have a soft spot for the Cordelia you drew at my request about two and a half years ago, as well as your two Hifumi artworks. If I'm reading this correctly, this is just a Patreon retirement, yes? I'd hate to see you stop art entirely, even if you can't draw as frequently due to your health. And if you ever decide to start your Patreon back up, I'll be back as soon as I see it! Sorry for the long-winded post! I wish you a very Happy New Year and a wonderful future!

I am so devastated to hear that, I started supporting you two and a half years ago, you are my favorite artist even if this year has been difficult for you you still gave it your all and I will 'thank you from the bottom of my heart, I confess that I am disappointed that you shut down the boss but if it is your decision I respect it and I hope that we will be able to see your arts for years to come and especially if we little again you support I would be there and the others too Katz! And happy new year to you and I hope your hand will be better!

icealice

Happy new year! I will continue to support your activities and illustrations. Have a wonderful year for katz!

BoltUp217

Thank you for all of your work over the years. I don't remember how I discovered your art originally, but I will forever be a fan. I remember "meeting" you at AX 2018 or 2019 (don't remember which year lol) and was amazed at how humble you were and how you cared for us fans. I hope that find and pursue what you're passionate about. If you ever decide to come back to Patreon, I will definitely be a supporter again!

I feared this day would come... Thank you Katze, for the year of Artworks (especially Azur Lane content) that you drew, it was a great time, best wishes for the future!

Happy new year~! I saw a picture of Nagato (Azur Lane) on Twitter. That's how I got to know Katz. I've never been to a comic market before, but when I heard that the manga created by Katz was going to be sold, so I went to buy it. It was so hot and humid in the hall that I almost collapsed, but I made some good buys. Sorry, I may have talked too much. I am very sad to hear this sudden news, but I am rooting for you! (I am sorry that my English is so bad...)
