Hello my sweet creatures! Apologies for the long, long delay. (The longest I've ever taken from Deepdark activities, in fact.) It's been a wild stretch. There were trials & tribulations. There were mysterious (but mercifully short-lived) debilitating ailments. There was Whamageddon and its associated festivities. Most critically, I said my yearly bittersweet goodbye to NYC and my annual euphoric hello to tropical Asia (how I've missed you). It wasn't my intention to drop off without an update, and I'm very sorry if I worried you. But since you've all been so sweet in encouraging me to take space/time when I need to, I decided to just let myself go dark for a while. It was a good call.

And now, of course, I'm back & rejuvenated -- and I brought presents! So happy new year, my beloved listeners. Thank you so very much for supporting me during good times and rough times alike. POV: You're about to cook up a snack in your dorm kitchen... but find it's already been claimed by a cute, grumpy guy whom you've clashed with in the past. The more he tries to get rid of you, the more you want to stay. The battle of wills quickly escalates and you find yourself pinned to the wall. Dinner plans may need to change.

The speaker character teases and mocks the listener character (e.g. "talking to you is a waste of time," "you're so stupid"), while the listener character sometimes teases the speaker character about his interests.
