I’ve been working on this new desk for the Farmhouse Collection for quite some time. I spent a long time looking for a way to create a fully functional desk for the game while still using a base that supports three texture slots, allowing for richer, more detailed and realistic textures.

After several weeks working on it, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s just not possible 😂

Then last Friday I thought, there was no way I was restarting everything from scratch with a 1 or 2 texture slot base. There had to be a way to make it work using some kind of OMSP or invisible desk system instead.

And… honestly, somehow it actually works with this system 😂

So for now, today’s desk functions like a regular surface. But once I finish and share my OMSP/invisible desk system with you (or if you already use one made by another creator), you’ll be able to use this new functional CC as an actual desk with a chair and a computer.

My OMSP/invisible desk system could also be useful if you ever want to turn a dining table into a functional desk, for example.

So for today, I’m sharing the desk as a regular surface. The OMSP/invisible desk system is already working and fully tested in my game, I just still need to finish the release side of things: custom thumbnail, preview images, proper packaging, etc... Once that’s done, I’ll share it with you too, so those who don’t already have one installed, or don’t have one at the right height for this desk, can use it properly as well.
