Content

Attached are brief samples of three possible future stories. They are short reads meant to give a flavor of the story.

I will post a set of polls later today to give you a chance to vote on your top two choices of 'what next'.

  • One Honest Man —  a new story about Jared Scott, a newly minted lawyer in Chicago
  • Roll Of The Die — Fantasy Action/Adventure/Mystery in a D&D universe
  • A Republic If You Can Keep It — The Future Dissolution of the United States

Of course, Good Medicine, Climbing the Ladder, A Well-Lived Life, and Fran Mercer will all continue.

A Sailor's Diary is on the shelf due to significant research requirements.

PLEASE WAIT FOR THE POLLS. Comments will not be counted.

Wyoming Iceberg

First impression is that I want to see a bit more. OHM seems like another spin-off of AWLL. The other two seem to have potential, but I'm not hooked by them with what is posted here. Can't say whether that's good or bad. I see potential with all of them, yet I honestly cannot say at this point whether I would read more or not.

Stargazer

Unfortunately, "The Future Dissolution of the United States" seems a bit too close to possible reality for comfort. I didn't even want to start reading that one! The other two seem interesting. I love your writing but please try to let it remain a welcome escape from the somewhat depressing reality we find ourselves living through these days...

Thanks for the feedback. The prologue lays out what I think is going to happen, sadly. :-( So I do understand not wanting to read it.

I have limited time to dedicate to something I'm not sure I'm going to write. In the end, the mus rules. :-)
