Things slowed down a bit this time around. I ended up getting strep-throat and was put out of commission for a little bit. Thankfully I know a guy who knows a guy that hooked me up with some meds to help. Now I just need to build up momentum again for working on the project.

So far, it's still been feet stuff. But, in my recovery I've began the process to rig Vex. I figured that'd be a good respite from the constant animating.

You might have noticed this update is posted at an unordinary time than when I typically post. Hopefully after today, I can start building up the steam again for progress.

Nothing much else to talk about. It's just been animating and getting sick. But I'm gonna make some efforts to start living more healthily to prevent stuff like this in the future. Thank you all again for your continued support and definitely thank you for your patience on my sick leave. Ya'll are awesome as hell. If you have any questions just let me know. If you want to join the Discord server or you have joined and need a role, go ahead and send me a DM anywhere.

Down below is the current released build. It has not been updated since August of last year. An update will come once I get these beginning night options all working.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Current supporter build link 1.3.8(copy/paste the whole link (including the white text and ZIP then extract the folder)):

https://mega.nz/folder/cKw0DZBL#lMWhucafpOEC7cGldzMfOQ

Notes:-Download the folder with everything in it as a ZIP. Do not download individual files or as Standard.

-You save the game now by going to the side of the bed. No longer autosaves (Maybe, I don't remember anymore).

-ESC closes the game, P brings up the menu for options.-Answer the door for Poppy when you want and DO NOT pick any other option other than "For a price..". If you DO pick another option than that, you'll need to delete your save file and go again. The only ways right now to do that is: Press "P" and go to Delete Saved Game or C:\Users\[username]\Appdata\Local\GYYO_TheGame\Saved\ then delete the file

Hope you are feeling better! I know you cant give any targets for a next release, but do you have any indication if you'll do more frequent releases again after this major development hump? Just curious if well were thinking in terms of months or years at this point.

From this point, each update will take quite some time. It won't be years worth of waiting for updates. But, months should be expected. It's primarily just a bunch of animating. Right now, The amount of animation frames imported to the game is 2-3x more than all my other animations. As I could put out more frequent updates, there would still be choices that would lead to soft locks or just go nowhere. At least with this first night of interactions, I want to make sure every choice is filled. Perhaps in the future once these are completed; I can make updates that will just be single roads to just see the animation/content implemented. But, I honestly don't like that route. I want to make sure each update is either a huge chunk of content, or some bug fixes and such.

Get at least 30 minutes to an hour of sunlight a day. Sure help some. I know some coders and I sometimes I have to literally drag them kicking and screaming outside. Take all the time you need to feel better. Health comes first, coding comes 4th.

Don't sweat it brother, get well and better that's the main focus. We know you're working your a** off trying to bring us the newer update so just keep it up at your own pace, no need to work yourself sick. Be safe out there.

MoistCavityMap

100% correct. Just a simple hour walk in the sun can do fucking wonders. I'm constantly feeling the downsides of living at a desk for 8+ hours a day. I'll be taking some precautions.

I was worried because there hasn't been an update for a whole week. I hope you take good care of yourself.

Squee342

Good and find a friend that can hold you to them. Even if they drag you outside.

Marto

AnkLira
