Hey JOI enjoyers! I'm going back into your favorite series. I worked on optimizing the 3D scenes so it takes less time to render, and will hopefully allow me to add more effects in. I did this mostly by posturizing (decreasing the amount of colors of) the textures of the book, since that's what takes the most processing power, to a level where it's not all that noticeable (or looks good even if slightly different) but the textures now weigh considerably less (between 3 and 10 times lighter), and by changing the composition to 24 fps. That means that the book animation sections will be slightly more "choppy" but it also works as a stylistic effect while the sex sections will still be 60 fps.I actually tried recreating the book in blender but I had a horrible time as you can't do animated text on pages very easily (if at all?). If there are any blender gurus who know how, I'd love to hear from you.I'm hoping I can slowly transition into making more videos/series like this, as it's way more creatively fulfilling and will make for better content. It will likely mean I'll spend more time on each video, so uploads will be more sparse but the bump up in quality will be worth it. I'm still thinking about how I can make this work while offering voting on videos, and having commissions (I might make them more expensive since I'll be putting way more effort and time in), but if you have any thoughts or suggestions on this, I'd be happy to hear them 💕If you didn't know, I have a discord where I share more of my work-in-progress effects and progress on videos so if you wanna see that or talk to other JOI enjoyers, join through this link or connect your discord account in your Patreon settings and you will be automatically added into my server. I'll likely be uploading more of those work-in-progress effects here too, to let you see what I have cooking up, but it won't be as often as on discord.Anyway here's what's coming up in the next episode... 🤭
