(Soft reboot of an already covered Hellhound)

Abominable product of the WOLF/WITCH wars that spawned malignants like Theiss. Within the demonic principalities inner gang warfare is constant and all kinds of beings can descend to near demonhood. When a CANIS devours prey it can take some of their essence; and if one eats too many powerful witches that magic can seep into the beast's soul.

CANIS witch magik is classified as an "unknown element" in Conglomerate Intelligence Agencies.

They literally are what they eat... Love how fluid and fleshy the feral CANIS designs are the further we get away from the racecar sleekness of FREKI/GERI or the nobility of LYCAON. A little WYRM influence in there maybe?

Jarrod

Are these different to the cu-sidhe workhounds of Lycaon or is this the new version of that deformite?

SpaghettiBastard

As ive fleshed out the whole setting the distinctions between the wolf breeds needed to be more apparent. Topside; the Aesir programs keep the GARM in semi-streamlined pedigrees and close to classic werewolf phenotypes. In the deep down below the Hessian bunkers the deformities start. Multi-eyes are the first sign of deviancy from the original programming and the blue becomes orange/red. LYCAON is responsible for much of this and the Kuu-Shee is helping him.

Gotcha gotcha. Cù-Sith is one of the hounds from Scottish mythology that really sticks with me so nice to see her rendered this way in BONEMEN. That begs the question of just how far the werewolf form can mutate down there...
