When set against the Teumessian Vulpini (the wild foxbeast who sowed chaos and could never be caught) the inescapable mechanized hound chased the uncatchable monstrous fox at such speed and intensity and across space/time that they began to tear apart segments of it. Like a reactor meltdown the Gods attempted to contain the spillage the chase caused and eventually trapped them in a never ending loop in chase forever.
