Unsanctioned genetic manipulations fashioned by the mad scientist ENKI during his time at the EDEN biodome facilities. Many hybrid creatures were illegally grown without the permission of the King or Moon Warden and would later infest the earth after ENKI released them from their enclosures defying the order to exterminate them.

 Originally crafted to be Palace guardians and bedwarmers for the WYRM royals; they earned a more prestigious designation after their high clairvoyance was discovered and was put to use in WYRM expansion. Sphinxes are highly intelligent but their bestial nature is still very active, after an enlightening discussion of philosophy they will end with eating your entrails.
