Can definitely see Ser George as a Yojimbo-type figure, wandering from town to town and fighting WYRMS where they appear. At least he's keeping busy after excommunication! As one of the slayers who transcended WYRM subjugation protocols, does he have any ties to others such as Apollon or Susanoo? Maybe even the villain MARDUK? Or are they separated by time periods (and maybe even space too)?

So the Dragon-Slayer finally reveals himself - the Doomguy of this setting. Most intriguing. At least he leaves a feast behind for the vultures to study and dissect.

All mentioned are OLD SLAYERS, most are merely legend by the time of the main WYRM storyline but they are all transcendent beings and might still be active. their allegiances my be in question though

Sweet, figured it wouldn't be so cut and dry as "WYRM slayer - good". Tried to do some reading and the best I could find was the Susanoo - OROCHI nemesis pairing and Apollon with the Hyperboreans... well, that'll probably be before FAFNIR got to them. Is transcendence just overcoming the limitations placed on them? You've referred to George in particular as an entity and not a man - they must be more forces of nature than anything (besides MARDUK)

george is classified as an "entity" BUT he is pure human & EARTHBORN. spoilers beyond that point.
