Kapro

The Media Void

The dopey, early triassic reptile the Hupesuchus! While any ocean-bound dinos are neat, I like the silly early ones, before evolution really nailed down what dinosaurs should looks like.

LordNidd

Acrocanthosaurus Stegasaurus Most super-sauropods (Supersaurus, Puertasaurus, Amphicoelias/Maraapunisaurus fragillimus, etc)

LordNidd

I also love Mosasaurs, giant Pterosaurs (Quetzalcoatlus, Tapajara, etc), Pliosaurs, Dimetrodon, and the mega-crocodilians like Purussaurus and (especially) Deinosuchus on the non-dinosaur front. Also, add Therizinosaurs, Saurophaganax, Torvosaurus, and Giganotosaurus to my dino-list.

Ropux29

Dimetrodon has long held a dear place in this humble viziers heart

Dreadcrown_of_Swarms

Dimetrodon, Postosuchus, Ceratosaurus, any kind of Mosasaur, Acrocanthosaurus, Coelophysis. This one is excited to see the results of this convocation!

Mikael Assarsson

Therizinosaurus, Mosasaurus and Pachycephalosaurus are my favs

Sirius

Carcharodontosaurus Kaprosuchus Argentinosaurus

CJ

Parasaurolophus, thanks to her beautiful voice, she’s a walking empathy infection Quetzecoatlus, created and named by the feathered scientist himself And Gorgonopsid, a terrifying hybrid of dragon and baser mammals, truly a dangerous union

RubikTree

I'm going to be a basic bitch and say T-Rex, but also Carnotaurus-love the 'devil' look

casualbaloth

Spinosaurus is great, especially with the recent discoveries about them. Allosaurus is also really cool, love those funky guys.

ubel

Dreadnoughtus, Compsognathus, Stegosaurus, Therizinosaurus, Longisquama, Sharovipteryx, Ankylosaurus, and Aquilarhinus are some of my favorites, i like the weird guys

David Madureira

Always been a fan of the ceratosaurus and allosaurus

Walker L Taylor

The Iguanodon my favorite of the dinosaurs, I just love the idea of a somewhat peaceable herd herbivore that has the ability to shank an attacker with its thumbs. And I know it is technically a marine-reptile, but the Tylosaurus is my second, as being one of if not the largest mosasaurus that primarly hunted by ramming its prey at high speeds, not unlike the orca. The Protoceratops and the parasaurolophus come in next, partly due to their very unique and recognizable body shape, and in part because I love the idea of a small, two legged triceratops and a dinosaur that would of had a beautiful singing voice.

Hellbender93

On the non dinosaur side? Scutosaurus seems like he’d be a good heavy hitter. Was either him or a relative that was described as the “reptile with Queen Anne legs”? Pareiasaurus perhaps? I second the notion of Triassic era parareptiles being cool in a wonky way. In terms of dinosaurs? Monolophosaurus, Amargosaurus, and Concavenator. In general I could see your prehistoric creatures being like the inbred looking dinosaurs from Peter Jackson’s Kong, maybe with a bit more retrosaur thrown in.

Sauropods will always be my favorites, especially Brachiosaurus and retro sauropods. Beyond those, though: - Allosaurus and Saurophaganax are already suitably gnarly for WYRM. - Spinosaurus - Tenontosaurus can finally get revenge on those fucking raptors. - Retro stegosaurs are fucking great - Call me a basic bitch, but Triceratops would be an excellent base for something. - Scelidosaurus and Scutellosaurus - Dilophosaurus - Abelisaurs could be a neat basis, making the headgear into crowns or helmets based on any number of cultures. - And of course, the Victorian Megalosaurus and Iguanodon, as well as good old Hydrarchos. These could make good inspiration for monstrous serpent-whale-sea dragons for Egypt! - Hadrosaurs could be great fun to make into draconic monsters. Non-dinosaurs: - Kaprosuchus and the other various land-crocs - The countless weirdoes of the Triassic, partiuclarly Yarasuchus, Vancleavea, drepanosaurs - Harpactognathus - Various small gliding not-lizards - Plesiosaurs - Thalattosaurs - could be made into John Martin-style sea dragons - Victorian ichthyosaurs - Megalania (It's a bit of a cheat, I know, but it's just so PERFECT for WYRM!)

Yeah, the Triassic is just... *chef kiss*

Ian

. Ceratosaurs . Therizinosaurus . Guan long . Oviraptor . Triceratops (you could play with the omnivore theory with this one) . Dilophosaurus . Quetzalcoatlus (Obviously not a Dino but these guys can be real creepy when done right)

Ian

Kaprosuchus is another good non Dino

Harrison Helton

Dinosaur: Dreadnoughtus. Non-dinosaur: Beezobufo, the demon frog, predator of tyrant children.

Jay The Red

Probably the therizinosaurus. Sword fingers are cool

Joel

its stretching the definition of dinosaur super hard but Inostrancevia are basically ancient lizard-dogs
