Bah! Such a display of talent and skill, and no victory? To be fair, I’m sure it was a close call, but still! Ah, but there are a future conquests, and, as you said, you have contacted and ingrained new blood. While the war was lost, campaigns are rarely singular in nature. And the Court will always crave more blood.
