What’s new

Act 3 continues after the exposure test, with route-specific consequences and new steps in Anita’s investigation.

Major turning points in Anita’s pheromone and Cass’s aggression storylines, plus new content for Darcy, Montanna, Samantha and Tina.

Seven more recoverable historical recordings, bringing the playable tape archive to thirteen, alongside further memories.

New encounters in the Café, Gym, bathroom and residents’ rooms. Some scenes vary with player gender and relationship choices.

More conversations and agreements involving the optional Girlfriend, Gallery improvements, and fixes to scene availability, Journal guidance, camera recordings, statistics, achievements, phone behaviour and older-save handling.

The free public browser edition is currently v0.97a at play.torian.games. This v0.98 release is for Gold supporters.

Choose the ZIP for your platform and extract it into a new folder rather than overwriting your existing game. On Windows, run TheFutaExperiment.exe; on Mac, open TheFutaExperiment.app.

Existing saves

You can continue an existing save. Back it up first, then save in a new slot after loading it in v0.98. You do not need to restart. Keep your older game folder until you have confirmed the new build and your save work as expected.

Patron Gallery access

Unlock code: TFEPATRON097

Enter the code from the main menu, pause menu or Gallery to unlock the patron Scene Archive, editable statistics, point controls and Patron cheat menu. If you redeemed it in an earlier build, your unlocks carry forward.

I've noticed an error or loose end (that's been there for a while) where Darcy, when she transforms the 2nd time and every time after, and you've let her into your room (if you want her to get you addicted), she starts appearing in her room and random areas days afterwards, even after the tracker you buy claims she's been taken down to her cell. I've found she appears as the transformed version in various areas even when she's supposed to be back to her normal self. I get this is so the player can play all the random encounters with her transformed version in the cafe, the medical area etc., but it seems excessive to me for it to happen days after each time you're alerted. It also doesn't make sense really, since if you've been alerted by the Facility's sirens going off (red flashing light in your room etc.), then shouldn't Darcy have been caught immediately and dragged to her cell by Cas? Perhaps there should be another way you get alerted that Darcy is loose, something not by the Facility but maybe by Darcy herself sending a text or something? Then you can chose to tell on her or keep it secret, that way the random encounters (at least until she gets caught and turned back again) makes sense. It could be part of the various options you can take in Darcy's storyline perhaps?

I think something is broken with Cass and the GF. I'm at the end of Cass' aggression path. She is full on aggressive. She has max relationship with the GF, but every time they are in Cass' room together, they are only cuddling. This happens when my relationship with both is at 0 and when they're at 100. I have not talked about sharing my GF with Cass, but in the past they would do more than cuddle in her room. Since the previous patch they just keep cuddling, with none of the sex scenes triggering in her room even when both at max horniness and the GF at max addiction. Could you please take a look at the triggers for the sex scenes between GF and Cass in her room? I think something is broken/bugged.

Also, at some point if you've done nearly all (max relationship between you and the chars, and GF and the chars, etc) Darcy just stops going into angry mode. Even when her lust stays high several days without getting any, she's not turning hulk anymore.

Also, the Talk about us option is only there when speaking with the GF in your room when you also have the option to talk about inviting someone into your relationship. If you haven't said you have given someone permission, you cannot choose that option. Some scenes also seem locked behind you sharing her with at least someone. I choose to share her with Darcy and suddenly the threesome with Tina and Cass popped up. Which didn't ever before. Same with the scene in your own room where she shows off her new outfit (the goth outfit).

And another bug I encountered: recording 4 & 5 between the GF and Anita in the Nurse's Office are not unlocking at all. The being sneaky in the dark together.

During therapy as a female MC, if you succesfully resist Samantha, you suddenly turn into the male MC for that scene.

Also in the shop, the category of toys to the right side of cameras is so far out of the screen, I only took notice after a lot of hours that it's there. It only shows a part of the button.
