Welcome to this first hosiery review. At the top of the post is a 4 minute video showcasing the item, in this case a pair of A New Day fishnet style ankle socks I found on clearance at Target last month. I was inspired to do a series of because I'm a fan of Soni Panda (Twitter, YouTube, Website) and I like her style. So, here goes. What we have here is a pair of A New Day Fashion Anklets, that I purchased from Target on their clearance racks a last month. A New Day is one of Target's house brands. They originally retailed for $3.99, but I got them on clearance for $2.50. They are made in China, and are one size, so they fit shoe sizes from 5-10, or a little bigger, as they are highly stretchy and could be almost described as a trouser sock. They are 92% Nylon and 8% Spandex, so there is plenty stretch. They feature a fishnet pattern, with flowers throughout to give a little visual interest over the more standard fishnet style. Attached are pictures of me wearing them with a pair of Asos flatform sandals, a common pairing with fashion anklet socks like these. So, what do I think of them? Well, they are comfortable, stretchy and cute, and you can pair them with sandals and heels, and I would recommend them with heels, because these don't really go with sneakers, unless they are plain white or some other solid color.
