Glad you really enjoyed Pompo. You almost noticed it, but if you cut out the credits and the intro cards, then yes, the film itself is, infact, exactly 90 minutes long. Addressing what you brought up partway through the film, with regards to characters lacking spine/stuttering/lacking self confidence etc, there's not an affinity for that character archetype per se, but rather, i'm a big fan of personal growth in characters, especially because i think those kinds of stories provide really good moral advice for people who consume that media, to potentially change their own worldviews and grow as people themselves. This movie is no exception in regards to that mentality. If a character is the spineless archetype, but never really outgrows it or overcomes it in any meaningful way, then i'm not going to be a fan of that character and likely that story.

Seeing Gintama in retrospective after watching all of the episodes and movies, the jokes and trolling start to feel repetitive and predictable along with Japanese jokes we don’t understand, it sucks cuz I like the serious stuff but the jokes included feel forced like you said

Yeah Steve Blum (Wolverine & Venom in Marvel Rivals) is Lex Luthor in The Flashpoint Movie. he's been Wolverine is a couple projects but he's also Zabuza & Spike Spiegel Green Lantern isn't Seth Rogan, it's Nathan Fillion, He's also Green Lantern in the new Superman Movie Kevin Conroy is Bruce Wayne as usual but Thomas Wayne is Kevin McKidd (Soap from Modern Warfare 2 & 3) Michael B Jordan is Cyborg

thnx for reactions. Loved cinephile. Was pretty damn good. Glad u enjoyed the gintama one for the most part. Yea even serious gintama arcs have plenty of comedy lol, well other than the last 3-4 arcs or so, those are just jam packed. But thats like 350 eps in or so. Anyway I'm satisfied with that. Looking forward to the polls soon also yea Kaguras VA is Unio, she also did Happy (FT) and does Haeumea (fire force) and Karyou Ten (kingdom) from characters u know

kol gintama is very good anime especialy when you watch all ep,the trick is that it gets you used to jokes every ep and than sudenly throw you off guard when serious ep drop and thats the true recipe for gintama.Im am glad that you watched it, i wish if you pick gintama on your watchlist
