The Darwin Incident (10), Oshi no Ko Season 3 (9), One Piece Netflix LIVE ACTION Season 2 NEW-1-4) - The One Piece Live Action SO FAR has been VERY enjoyable! Campy AF and cringe moments here and there, but WITHOUT A DOUBT, it's better than Season 2 (AGAIN, SO FAR!). The CGI is better, the acting is better, the Marines are better characters, PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY DYING, better pacing, etc etc!

one thing i have a problem with the OPLA is that Luffy doesn't feel like a powerhouse. he is eather getting nailed here and there, or singing and dancing. he should be more acrobatic and throw more hands also, i had noticed they be leaning a lot more into the cartoony side of One piece this season, more then s1. i would like to see more blood. Comedy in s2 is FUKING GOLD tho. Sanji and Zoro are GOLDEN also, i feel like the Nami x Vivi and Zoro x Sanji shippers are CARRYING the views of the OPLA

I watch 1 episode per day and I can barely hold up and I keep pausing and watch other shows before coming back and finishing the episode, I hope they don't get past Season 3 Cuz I really can't handle it anymore LMAOOO.

probably gonna go until the end since its very popular and a flagship and tied to one of the biggest stories ever. plus a ton of the show is really great, few bad moments but mostly good. also great story changes most of the time. adaptations will be muuuuuch better going forward thanks to this show.

They’ve already said that they don’t plan to do the whole series for the live action and that Oda and the team already have an arc in mind they plan to stop at. Which if I were to guess is right before the timeskip.

Man god damn shippers lmao. I totally feel that sentiment ya mentioned, hopefully they can hone in on that aspect of Luffy more and capture that which makes Luffy, well, Luffy (outside of personality, dialogue, and quirks)! This could be challenging because Luffy’s abilities to showcase in a live action require a lot of fluidity and computer graphics to streamline, hopefully they can capture it more though because that would be dope! Glad the comedy is on point, looking forward to ALL the Zoro and Sanji shenanigans they throw at us!! 😂😂

@Marcus D Hmmm that’s a fascinating thought, you know that kind of makes sense because imagine how hard it’s gonna be to pull off a live action G4 Luffy (eventually leading to G5) and how damn silly that “could” look compared to just his base form and G2 form, hell even G3 is gonna be a considerable undertaking and that’s the next biggest challenge imo as the characters start to level up in powers and skills. It makes sense to make the OPLA its own adventure tied to the main story, but also to let it run its own race and unlike the anime characters the real characters can’t endure such a looong journey being real humans and all without committing their entire acting careers to the saga lol (not to mention they would age the hell up for real). At the point that continuing the live action becomes unattainable, maybe they will conclude it and tell the audience the story continues in anime and manga form where it can be enjoyed in full! 🏴‍☠️😮

The People saying they are skipping stuff by moving a flashback are stupid. You are not skipping anything; you are literally covering the flashback. It's just you don't know who Roger's son is yet, and how they are doing it is making the OPLA only people think it is Luffy. There are just some people who think any change at all is wrong, I am telling you that you are too close to the Manga. People who have never read or watched the Manga or Anime are having fun watching the LA. I wish more people could appreciate that.

Yeah OPLA was never going to be better lol, One Piece is too goofy and whacky of an anime for a live action to capture on that scale, it's not something like Rurouni Kenshin or Kingdom where it's much easier to capture the heaviest action sequences and themes translate easier for example. Oh yeah Smoker is badass and cool, love the casting! <3

I dig your perspective and really agree on other people being able to enjoy it a lot without already being fans of the series, which of course is one of the goals they set out to achieve. One Piece live action adaptation is likely the most ambitious anime live action project to date, there will have to be many practical changes and tradeoffs made to translate it to another medium, personally as long as Oda agrees and is aware of whatever changes I have a lot of confidence in it (not that I expect perfection from it).
