The Boys kinda has me worried that they'll fuck up the finale. Sure the unhinged craziness and dialogues are still nice but this season really doesn't hit as hard as a final season should. It feels more like something that fits in between and there's so many loose ends to tie up I wonder how they'll approach it now that there's only one episode left.

Yo King if you actually played and beaten all the DMC games, season 2 hits different than 1. A lot more callbacks, cameos, and added lore to characters. Not to mention a lot more SSS action. Soundtrack obviously is fire too, voice acting great as well. They give a lot of love to DMC2 which is cool because most people don't like 2, I do though:) Also, they do a great job with Vergil IMO. In the games he wasn't fleshed out as well

They don't have the budget to go the comic book route, they would need Disney money for that. Finale in comics would be expensive and difficult to adapt

I've played and beaten every DMC since the first one came out in 2001 multiple times. I've watched the DMC anime from Madhouse multiple times(not much SSS action but meets the Vibe check). I play Dante Vergil and Trish in Marvel Vs Capcom 3. I'm a huge Devil May Cry fan that was disappointed in season 1, but season 2 redeemed the show for me. They took the worst DMC game (DMC2) and made something good out of it by fleshing out Arius and Argosax more. Even Mundus and Vergil is being fleshed out more. Dante and Lady could be done better I admit, but everything else is great IMO and worth watching especially if you know EVERY little thing from EVERY game and the old anime like me. There's many boss cameos,like Beowulf from DMC3. Gave lore to one of the coolest DMC2 bosses, the Trismagia. As a DMC fan, I am pleased. They even threw in the Vergil plastic chair meme W season

@Sanji Ah man Devil May Cry 2 has some cool moments and great characters, but it really is a dog shit game and it's sadly rightfully disliked among the fandom lol. I'm hoping Devil May Cry season 2 will be really fun and structured a lot better along with the fire action and music sequences that must be present in a demon slaying, action heavy fantasy such as DMC! At least they are honoring and respecting the source material and fans, I just want the vibe check with the sheer execution lol.

When Soldier Boy tapped Homelander goodbye on the shoulder, Antony Starr's acting with his facial expressions was crazy. First time he was actually called "Son" by his father the mix of emotions with him leaving his life forever was too much. Man deserves all the awards. Also when Jeff Dean Morgan's character said he was besties with Butcher and made the heart, that was pure Conquest energy. Amazon is savvy for that because the blood heart was added to the show aka not in the comics

Nah DMC2 is solid, people just bitch bcus you can beat the whole game with guns. It has the best Dante design, actual abilities for the Devil Trigger not just moves during it, if you activate it near death you get an overpowered majin DT, there's a shit ton of bosses, there's added flippy dippy mobility running off walls, and it's the first DMC game you can play as a second character aka Lucia. Also there's a lot of solid animations for Dante's character model

idk anything about the comic but the show is notoriously NOT accurate, which is a very good thing according to ANYONE who has read it lol. I just mean something like Homelander being unhinged feels way more impactful than it did last Season. Butcher's methods being too much is way better than him being insane. what happened to The Deep and Noir should've happened a while ago. even Firecracker was more interesting than before (Sage too imo). I think what makes this season feel underwhelming is that a lot of it feels overdue. as long as the finale is DECENT, I'll be happy

Nice KOL wrapped up the TRAGEDY that is One Punch Man S3, some good moments but such a fall from grace as we all know. The Boys is letting up steam in some ways over various developments and reveals, I wonder how it's all gonna play out knowing now that it's not gonna finish the same as the comic (I got faith in a semi-strong finish though)! Dorohedoro was off the mothafuckin' chain OD, tripple OD lmao! Damn the plot thickens ever more with RADICALLY WILD twists and turns, I'm 100% down for it all as it unfolds, this season of Dorohedoro has NOT let off the gas one second and I'm enjoying it just as much as the first season if not more! Marriagetoxin remains good fun, I agree with KOL that Link Click generally doesn't get me hyped much compared to most similar series based on my tastes at least.
