Doll

I woke up to the ping of no avatar and went straight back to sleep haha

I knew KOL was not gonna get into anything else once Yonko Commander Ronald Weasley drops dead. Also, KOL. “Que sera, sera” is actually French, not Spanish. It literally means “what will be will be”. So the song really is just saying “What will be will be what will be will be”.

Zawa

Don’t care bout avatar personally but hype for the demon slayer movie at least. Hope also that u get to peep Jan, sparks and inept that u said u might peep last week before all these movies came out🙏

Emperor Raven

Poor you, glad you enjoyed some good ass sleep though lol.

Emperor Raven

Ohhh that's some cool language knowledge, thanks for sharing I love learning about languages lol.

Emperor Raven

I'm HYPED for both LEGIT, I hope after the films that he really will trial those too cause damn I keep hearing they are the gems of this anime season.

Emperor Raven

Glad to see both the Avatar film and Demon Slayer film will be captured on stream soon, gonna be a FUN TIME! I was going to solo watch the Avatar film soon, but now I'll wait. :3

subzerostolly

It’s blasphemy they didn’t drop it in more cinemas it’s so good I’d honestly go watch it again it’s that good looking forward to kol reacting to it and demon slayer too both incredible movies.

Doll

haha i did thank you

memes4You

bro its been so fun watching FROM with u guys this week, I couldnt wait, so I went on ahead. and For me personally season 3-4 suffers from the LOST syndrome where they introduce too many plot points and start killing characters in unreasonable ways :/

J

Its not french it’s an old Italian motto (che sarà sarà) poorly translated into a spanish dialect (che=que and sarà= sera) though people mistake it for it being french for just the sera part which Spanish also uses, che would have to have been written as ce qui instead of que. But the phrase isn’t grammatically correct in Spanish or French so… I guess it doesn’t matter lol

Oussama Essamadi

So thanks to you and your comment I did some digging. I had originally jumped to a false conclusion due to my limited knowledge, sorry about that if I misled anyone. Turns out “Que sera, sera” isn’t actually French, Spanish, or even proper Italian. It’s an old pseudo-Romance motto that mixes Romance-language words, so it isn’t grammatically correct in any of those languages. It still means “what will be, will be,” but it’s basically its own expression rather than belonging to a specific language. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Emperor Raven

Well I’ll be damned — thank you fellas for the correction on the correction on the correction! I see why it was so fucking confusing lmao. 🤣🤣🤣 P.S. We all make mistakes homie, don't worry about it!

Emperor Raven

Much agreed man, I agree with ya!

Emperor Raven

Damn ya got me a tad concerned on that development cause I was watching Lost before and I lost interest at a certain point, maybe I will return to it someday... yeah From was a blast this week, crazy plays and developments with the bizarre world opening up.

Emperor Raven

From episodes are so fucking good and on point... enjoying the HELL out of them and crazy tactics were employed these episodes with newfound wisdom acquired and a "potential weapon!" Enjoyed the episodes of Tanya the Evil, Old Country Bumpkin, Clevatess, and X-Men '97 a lot. Ol' girl in Clevatess was getting deep fried traumatized by THE DARK BEAST on OD levels lol; fantastic episode of The Ghost in the Shell... loved the hi-tech cyberpunk backdrops present here and some good ass action with intelligent investigative work executed!

memes4You

no yeah at the end of the day its up to you on how u feel about the direction of the story, i binged it so maybe I missed some key plot points. But from what I know its a storyboard of multiple visionaries for the show not just 1 guy who knows exactly what he wants the story to be like and how it ends. And i think it unfortunately became pretty apparent towards the end :p

Emperor Raven

Oh damn I had no idea, kind of makes sense though and thanks for enlightening me! D:

memes4You

yeah thanks for listening it really just gives me so much respect for a guy like oda who has been able to maintain such a solid story thru 1000+ chapters and still know supposedly what the ending will be :o
