FROM S4 (9&10 FINALE), The Laid-Off Cheat-Granding Mage Enjoys a Second Lease on Life (3), Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 (NEW-1-5)

1) WE HAVE OFFICIALLY CAUGHT UP TO FROM!! EXCELLENT SERIES AND ONCE AGAIN ANOTHER EXCELLENT SEASON! They still do a great job hiding the mystery elements, and the MIY is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more of a monster than I thought. Elgin... smh, Ellis... smh, there are some WORTHLESS and DUMB characters in this series, but it adds a realism you can appreciate. The Fatima situation and the BONES finally getting discovered were DOPE... but I'm really looking forward to seeing how this place is going to change now that the tree has been uprooted... it'd STILL light the whole forest on fire though. (Season Rating 8.5/10)

2) I'll keep Cheat Mage... LOL!! The IQ in this series is enjoyably low.

3) Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 is HERE! I think it's good so far, after watching the first 5 episodes. Roman, King, Taila, and D are solid so far, each one with some solid character. D, though, is TOOOOO much like Sasuke in terms of style and plot. I like King's storyline, and I can see it shining with Talia later on in more meaningful ways. Roman has his moments that you're gonna respect to... BUUUUUUUUUUUUUT I'm not sucked in the way the previous cast got me going.

D is fucking amazing, just u wait for the second half, so is Talia and King, Roman is cool too. I do think S2's cast has a bit more depth to them than S1, Tho David, Lucy, Rebecca and Maine are goats tho, but characters like Dorio, Pilar, Kiwi and Falco are like whatever, so S2 keeping a smaller cast overall is way better approach, also S2 is not going for the same thing as S1, which is a very good thing imo, Repeating the same thing again is bad, by the end of this, u will realize this is like a thematic answer to Edgerunners S1, both seasons add to one another in a very cool way. S1 - 10/10 while S2 -9/10 imo.

so, on FROM. i feel like for the past 3 seasons we are running in circles. same shit is repeating, no progression, too many characters whinning constantly. if it wasn't for Boyd i wouldn't be excited to watch it ngl. and even Boyd took the backseat the last season. he was literally the hallucination man whole season every episode. over all it is a great show, but the progression for 4 seasons is close to non excistant. 1st season still the best one to me over all. s3 had the best ending. Cyberpunk spoiler free. i binged it in one go and over all its an amazing show, but not as good as s1. i believe it had way to many lose ends by the end and it's probabablly a set up for another season. this one is not as tragic as s1 too, its just bitter end. s1 - 9.3/10 s2 - 8.5/10

I noticed a pattern between the names of Elgin and Ellis... they're BOTH 5 character names that begin with "El" and if you sound that out... it's just L (always a capital L lmfao). 🤣😂🤣 On the whole though From was EXCEPTIONAL and always does what it does best while layering on more intricate plotting and unraveling mysteries at a solid pace while creating new ones! The MIY is a really fucking SERIOUS MENACE behind the scenes (literally a mini "menace to society" here lol). Cyberpunk: Edgerunners season 2 is off to an awesome start, totally enjoying the landscape, central themes, and new characters to explore and follow as their stories and events intertwine while unfolding. It's just very fun and dope, HYPED for later episodes. 🔥🔥🔥 The Laid-Off Cheat-Granding Mage Enjoys a Second Lease on Life is pretty damn fun, funny, and interesting for all the right reasons, solid suggestion it was! 🤣🤣

while the comparison to Edgerunners 1 is inevitable, learning to eventually differentiate them is the key to enjoying S2. I think it shines because of how different it is from S1, which is something I didn't feel until I finished it. I think the OP's are a perfect example. Also, Season 1 is during 2076, the game is 2077, and Season 2 is 2078. David put pressure on Arasaka while V (Game MC) was like Satan to them. Adam Smasher said David would make an interesting Engram (Capri but made of just one person) before he killed him. V also had an Arasaka Engram (Keanu Reaves).

That's pretty cool to know about the core thematic tones and agendas both seasons are aiming for as their conclusions reach their inevitable overlap! I dig series with a small yet vibrant cast of characters with a lot of depth and intensity to them, it's an art properly developing both small and large casts of characters in any given media which requires some different skills and focuses but done right both can be great.

Wait wait wait. I can understand you saying season 1-3 had almost no progress. Hell, I even agree to a certain extent. But S4 progress is HUGE. S4 progressed the story more than S1 to 3 COMBINED It went so far that I would say S5 is very likely to be the finale. If not the writers are making a big mistake
