This Nagatoro slander will not be tolerated. Based off the first 3 episodes Nagatoro beats Uzaki in every category. Animation, music, Art direction and comedy. The only difference is the MCs personalities in which Nagatoro's has more potential for character development. All in all Uzaki is sup-par at best but can still be enjoyable. Nagatoro is good to great with MASSIVE wholesome potential. All other opinions and objectively false. Thank you.

Nagataro is an insufferable brat bullying an innocent boy. Uzaki is some college student teasing the boy she likes. if I dumb it down like this, can you understand why people would prefer Uzaki more?

It's the same premise for both shows. In no way is Nagatoro an insufferable brat, she teases him to spend time with him as much as possible just like Uzaki. Nagatoro plays on the fact the MC is a closet perv, Uzaki plays on the fact MC is a loner. The response to the tease varies based on the personality of each. It's pretty simple.

the point is how the characters bounce off each other. Uzaki and Sakurai feels positive and fun while Nagatoro and Naoto comes off negative(and maybe charming?). People see Nagatoro as an insufferable brat because of how negative that relationship comes off specifically in the beginning. comedy is subjective, but the romance in Uzaki is much more positive than Nagatoro and thats exactly what Nagatoro's negativity leaves people wanting. KOL is a perfect example of that lol

The interactions are more mature and less over the top in Uzaki because they are older albeit still kinda perverted but the only problem I have is Nagatoro getting heavily judged with preconceived notions based on the first episode. Giving no room for any type of character growth or development is disingenuous imo. But to each their own I guess.
