Vincent, good afternoon, the video player has changed and now your video is essentially unwatchable on any larger monitors. Please advise. Cheers.

Fedor Filon

Hi, Vincent. Following Bhavana comment, new player don't allow set video on direct time, you can only pause and resume entire clip. I mean, new player don't have classic video control options.

Bhavana

Hi Vincent, yep - seems usefully functional now - cheers.

Another thing artists should do more often: if the client totally changes the art direction/technique and now the project it is a mess and it is not under the aesthetic and technical aspects both parts have agreed initially for the project, just quit from the nightmare and claim your money from the days you have worked on it. If they hired you based on your specific style/technique, don't go with their mess and don't let let they drag you trhough their bullshit. Don't be afraid to quit or rearrange terms/timeline/costs.

Thanko Schwenko! Haha.. I enjoyed this video, thanks for sharing your experiences!

Just stepping into 3D from a graphic background, so I really liked this video of your thinking process and overall vision.

Very interesting topic and for something more optimistic I somehow found it pessimistic. But I guess it is realistic. Seeing talented people like you sharing their personal experience and mistakes or struggles is a bit scary. I cant believe clients coming to profiles like you and ask to do the work for half... or maybe they really don't know who you are and what is your value in our field. I find it sad.
