Hello Vincent ! Some good tips in here, I didn't know about this "Thicken" thing, I was only using "Cloth Surface" for that. Give a look again at your "Stage" issue, because I am still using it and it works fine when rendering stuff out, kinda weird since I have the same C4D version as you. And it is in deed nice to see you struggling, you look more human

This is what Maxon wrote me: Hello Vincent, Thank you for reaching out the Maxon technical support and sorry for the issue you experienced. I can confirm to you that this is unfortunately a known bug. The new Redshift camera seems not to working accurately when used in the Render Queue. In those cases we now advice to disable the new camera as explained here: https://redshift.maxon.net/topic/44768/new-rs-camera-in-c4d-2023-1/2 There's been a bug filed for the behavior you've described. I've aggregated all of your comments and information alongside the bug report to our Engineering team, who will continue to dig into the issue and prioritize it for a fix. The timeline for a fix will vary depending on the impact (how many customers are affected) and severity (how bad is the bug) as well as the status of new feature work. As such, I cannot provide a time estimate as to when it'll be fixed. With the information passed onto the appropriate departments, this support ticket will get closed and you can keep an eye out for future product updates and the release notes. Oops, my mistake. Yes I also use Redshift but I actually just rendered my scene directly, not putting it in render queue before... Sorry for that, I hope they will fix it soon enough

Hi Vincent! I think the reason for the explosion is that inside the clothing tag, in the collision slide tab you should select "Both" and not "Front". hope that helps :)

Hey Vincent! Maybe this is the bug you are talking about, but if not maybe this will solve your problem with the stage object: if you click the "Camera" drop down menu in the render queue, you can choose the stage object as a camera and then it will render all your cameras. This works for me in redshift 3.5.15 (C4D version 2023.2.1) at least :)
