Sorry guys. Been trying to write but haven't managed to do much in the last couple of days. I'm thinking of taking today and tomorrow off to take my mind off from writing for a bit. I'll continue the story from Wednesday. Once again, apologies and have a good week 🙏

Have a good break. And if you need more time, take it. We will still be here

Greedsmith

I know I haven’t been reading for a while, but I had to say something after seeing the notification. Like we always say, just take your time. We’ll wait if that’s what it takes for the story to stay well written. Have a nice break.

Nick

Honestly I was expecting you to take a month or two break before the time skip. Take time to create a layout of ideas or start a discord to help with ideas.

Kenny

Bro I am sorry, but i am a bit pissed. Don't commit to that hard of a schedule if you are not going to deliver, I fully understand hours that possibly going into this, but man you yourself made this schedule and still you have regular delays and breaks. I have small issues when release rate is slow, but what really triggers me is when I expect something but get nothing. Man, slow down the schedule, make some chapters ahead without publishing them, but just dont make us expect a chapter and get this delay notice posts or you going MIA till the next day...

Agreed, Patreon is a monthly service, so missed days essentially means more money lost. With all the delays and rescheduling constantly happening, I wouldn't be surprised if 2 months or more were lost.

I love this story and respect the author for his effort and time he’s put into this story of his but ive also had the thoughts recently on the inconsistent update schedule and no messages to us readers as to what is currently happening. I hope you can take a long enough break to find some more inspiration and maybe read some new books or novels, we pay money and would hope we get every cent we payed for

Ange

Hey hex I’m reading a lot of ppl being upset don’t feel pressured to be able to write so much within a week bc we are only human not perfect I honestly don’t mind how long you take bc personally I spend my money to support you regardless of outcome because I have the money to spare n don’t mind losing days on something especially if I’m passionate about so take however long it takes to get back into creating ideas and writing for this story just keep doing you man and appreciate everything you’ve done so far with the story and the community you built🫶🏽🫡

I just subscribed, and I don't really mind. As long as you are committed continuing this novel, its enough for most of us. People come and go. Don't think too much about it. Some people here forget that Patreon is not a sales platform where you are guaranteed to get X/Y/Z, but instead its a platform where you sign up to support your favorite artist. Creative works cannot be forced, and the author wants to maintain quality of story.

If you reach a writers block, you can always ask us for pointers hex, perhaps we have ideas you haven't considered and the risk of writers block is extremely lower

Jd

Bro, honestly, just set up a schedule that you can deliver without fail - even if it means less chapters a week - or just straight up say that your work is creative and that you can’t promise to release on a fixed schedule. While patreon is a platform where we support your work without any sort of guarantee, not delivering on a schedule you designed yourself reflects poorly on you.

Aldar

Devil, please don't make the usual mistake of authors, taking comments to heart. Just take them into account and that's it. Some people donate for support, some to motivate, expecting a return. It doesn't matter. We are all here because we like this novel and it's not worth ruining it. It seems to me that you need to adjust the schedule and make one that you can maintain. That is, if you write that a chapter will be today, then it should be today, according to the schedule - Punctuality, even if there are 2 chapters a week. Decide for yourself :)

I agree. It's just that writer's block isn't something I can control. That kinda messes up the schedule I plan 😓
