Hey gang! Hope your all doing well!

I've been thinking about changing a few things, and wanted to ask you all before I dedicated to anything. So then:

Would you still support me if I stopped doing the Livestream Sketch-a-Thons?

But why?

I'm currently wrapping up the current batch of commissions, and was thinking of what I wanted to work on next. I'd really like to get back into making another comic, or other larger projects. Specifically, right now I have an idea to work on a Mavis x Hotel Transylvania monster comic called "Monster Mash" in which she drinks a love potion and well, you can guess what happens. I have tons of other ideas, for other projects, and it would be great if I could take less commissions, and not have to worry about spending an entire day or two working on sketch requests or comms, and instead really focus on my own projects. Patrons would of course get to vote on these projects and get wip updates and all that good jazz. Very much like how it was when I was working on "Big Trouble in Little Yordle". And I'd still be doing the monthly illustrations.

And honestly, less then half of patrons participate in the sketch-a-thon. Knowing that, it seems people are more interested in the completed illustrations then anything else.

What would happen to the current sketch requests?

I will still complete the current list of requests. I'll do them as warmups at the start of livestreams, and they'll still be randomly selected. I'll even allow folks to throw in one final sketch request as my appreciation for they're continued support.

Would you still be doing sketches?

Yes, but they'd be included as part of the existing Tiers. $20 patrons stay as they are, $15 gets shaded sketches, and $10 get single character non-shaded sketches.

TL;DR

No more sketch-a-thons, increased focus on larger projects(comics, animation, etc.), sketches still available under Tiers as monthly rewards.

Leave any comments or concerns below! I know this changes things quite a bit around here, so I fully expect push-back on this and for there to be potential complaints. Regardless of how you feel, I thank you so much for all of your support so far. It's been incredibly helpful, and I appreciate it so much!

As much as I like sketches, if they are a detriment to your work schedule, I say go for it. I always was a proponent of quality over quantity myself.

I really do think you should go for the comic idea. If the last one was any indication it would do well and you can get something out of it.
