I do agree just because Spider's mom is the way she is it doesn't excuse his behavior. I think can change and turn into a better person, just like Darren's dad. In the original Heart Break High from the 90s Darren's dad was a racist homophobe, so I feel like they're doing something similar with Spider's character. On Quinn I can relate being on the spectrum myself I also mask when I work and in my day to day life to "fit in" with neurotypical people. I had to learn to make eye contact and small talk, what seems to come natural to other people felt and still feels foreign to me. As a child sometimes I wouldn't speak at all when people spoke to me. When she said she played by everyone else's rules I got that 100 percent. At the same time she can't expect people to stay the same so I get where Darren was coming from too. Rowan, it's funny because when I first watched this season I got weird vibes from Rowan, like he seemed angry to me, I think the actor played it well, doing settle mannerism.
