I remember there was a theory that Rhodes was a Skrull since after Iron Man 1 (and his character’s cast change from Iron Man 1 to Iron Man 2 is the reason). Others theorized he was a Skrull since after Civil War when he plummeted down after a missed shot from Vision. Reasons for this is because he was paralyzed after the fall and barely could walk but seemed fine in Endgame. Thus, leaving him in a vulnerable position for the Skrulls to kidnap him and assume his life. Not a fan of Gravik killing Talos (still not forgetting about Maria Hill).
