Hi! My proven method to feel better about the drawing I'm about to make, is to warm up real good first. Get my hand loose, stimulate my imagination, let lines flow freely. I wanted to share with you a timelapse of that kind of practice + a video process of my recent painting of Tonny. That last one was really time consuming, I was experimenting a lot and mostly going blind through it, making many mistakes, going back and forth with shading that didn't feel good, so it's mostly a mess but I'm sure you can take something for yourself from it.Timelapse of figure drawingTimelapse process of TonnyIn the attachment i add a psd file of Tonny ♥

Thank you so much for sharing your process with us, golden! Your process on digital drawing was a very nice watch. There are a couple of pointless things I'm curious about. Your figure drawing's reference pics isn't a folder on your computer? Do you use magazines or maybe your phone instead? I appreciate your time to make this post and chatting with us a bit :)

Thanks! If I use references, I usually use my phone to search for it. If i use pinterest as an inspiration i try to remember to save the photos to the "Inspiration" folder. Recently i began to consider making my own references too~
