I find the way you draw head interesting! How did you come across some of the angle and simplification choices you make?

Everything can be simplified to basic shapes like spheres and boxes. When sketching a simple featureless head I always think of the head as a sphere with shaved sides and a boxy and flat law. it's a very quick way to figure out what angles you want to go with later on in a more complex drawing. Usually the bottom line of the jaw will be parallel to the line of eyes.

Wow, honestly that makes a lot of sense ! I’m just now learning to truly use shapes, I had never been very good at it before. Thank you for the advice, I’m gonna try to keep the sphere technique in particular in mind when doing figure studies 😊😊😊
