Mufasa AU: Hungry Starts (Patreon)

How did it start?

Kiros and his sisters were unwanted from the start. Chased from their pride for the crime of 'bad blood' they scraped survival out of the empty lands between kingdoms. Then they met Aoko. He was another outcast, albeit chased away for a very different reason. Since birth he'd had a fascination with death that went beyond predatory interest.

When Aoko was yet to grow into his mane he was discovered eating the body of another lion. While he hadn't been responsible for the death his cannibalism was reason enough for exile.

Young Kiros was charmed. Smitten even.

Between a quartet of hearts darkened by rejection, a new pride began.
