Help me improve your rewards experience! (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

First things first, I want to thank you all for your support, it is because of you that I'm able to keep creating artworks, and continue growing as an artist, it really means a lot. ❤️

Recently I've been reviewing feedback from exit surveys, and one theme that stood out is the way that rewards are being distributed. It's seems that the current rewards/folder distribution isn't working as well as it should. I've heard that it can be confusing, and sometimes people miss out because of manual errors on my end. (Like missing a DM).

Currently I send rewards/folders via individual DMs to help protect out exclusive content from leaks. However as our community keeps growing I've realized this system isn't perfect, and I want to make it better for you.

So, I'm turning to you, my amazing community, for your thoughts.

I could really use your experience with other creator and help to improve the current distribution of rewards!

How would you prefer to receive your rewards/folders?

Keep the direct DMs method (like now)

A monthly Patreon Post with the folder links

My only problem with how rewards are received is that the 2GB Dropbox limit gets filled up pretty fast, I can usually only keep 3-4 months worth of content, then I backup the old artwork onto my PC and a USB drive. But also I have no clue what you could even do about it so I don’t think my comment is very helpful lol

Not really super related but I think you should also try to look into a way to sort of permanently have access to the months reward that they sub for. Like if something happens and I somehow lose access to the art I've already payed for. Like a way to verify that I did pay for that art so that you can like manually send it again or something like that. More future proofing is what I'm after I guess.

Personally ive had the issue of my email not verifying multiple times which im sure helps against the link just being leaked but I think thats honestly the safest option compared to the, frankly far more annoying, alternatives like forcing people to use discord to get it or the end of the month link where its all dumped at once when I prefer it to just get rolled out as they are completed.

My biggest issue is the storage limit on Dropbox being so little that I have to back it locally before getting the new month's rewards. Another artist I support on Patreon uses Gumroad to distribute rewards. She uploads her works on Gumroad, then distributes a discount code to the Patreons and that seems to be working well. Though, I do not know if it's feasable to make a single use discount code for each of your Patreons and making a single reusable code could create a massive issue, if it leaks.

I do think the lack of space for Dropspace, also it might be me but I haven’t been able to access the previous rewards.
