W2H2 Rough Animation 16 (Patreon)

Hey guys!  Quite a few shots this month! I always think I didn't do that much and then I'm surprised when it comes time to upload, haha.  

So I'm definitely not hitting my "2-a-day" quota, and the rough animation wont be done by the end of the month, like I said last month.  It might be more like the end of the year.  I'm still in kind of a bind because I can't really afford to pay other animators right now, but my goal is still the same as last month; get the roughs done and assess where I'm at and how to move forward.  I've considered just posting the film in it's rough animation phase, though I don't know if that's the right move.  I've also considered taking an industry job (once I'm done with the roughs) and just putting my paychecks towards hiring people for clean-up/color.  It'd certainly be easier to bring people on during that stage once the roughs are complete, that's for sure.  I don't know exactly how it's gonna' shake out yet, but I'll keep you guys posted!  And in the meantime I'm pretty happy with how things are coming along!

SOME GOOD NEWS, I've got a friend who's doing prop design for me (those will be in the $1 post!) and she's also going to put together a small team to do backgrounds, so that's super exciting!!!  I love that there's gonna be people on board who actually specialize in environment design!  Haha.... it's a weakness of mine, so I'm more than happy to give her the keys.

Oh!  And ANOTHER COOL THING!!!  For YEAHRS I've been using a Mother Mother song on the animatic as a temp track, and my super fuckin cool GF is working on getting the synchronization license for me, so I can use the actual song!  Well, it'd be a cover of the song, which is actually WAY more exciting to me.  I'll post more about that once we get it all worked out.  (This was actually supposed to be my birthday surprise, but when she caught me working on a replacement song she had to spill those beans, and I'm REALLY EXCITED)
