Ken Leung (Zhao) is an incredibly talented actor. I was so happy when I heard he was cast in this show. Fun Fact: When he auditioned for this, he thought he was auditioning for one of James Cameron's Avatar movies. 😂

I believe that there were 4 directors and they did two episodes each. I love how the most consistent comment is always how fast Suki gets her makeup off 😂 I think this is probably my second favourite episode after the finale. Might be the Sokka and Suki fan in me though. I am biased.

I feel the show takes off after the 4th episode. The Acting picks up for me enough to want more. I'm enjoying my second watch thru and reading posts in the chat.

I do appreciate your approach to the live-action adaptation. I think having some distance from the anime series helps. You can appreciate the fan service that they include. That same distance can also help you disregard some changes that don't really affect the story.

A quote from The Imitation Game? Nice! That's one of my favorite movies. The music, in particular, is so good, and I actually sometimes listen to the soundtrack when I'm doing other things that don't require my full attention. My only sadness is that you've obviously seen the movie, so you probably won't be doing a reaction to it.
