Yay! That took a minute, but we finally have fresh content :) So glad to hear you survived the heat!

Book 1 doesn't end exactly halfway through the season but earlier. I think you'll notice when it happens. Each book has a central plot that gets resolved by the end, but naturally, they introduce new storylines for the next one, and there are overarching plots that continue throughout. You were pretty certain they wouldn’t kill Miller, but I imagine there were a few moments - like when the Nauvoo was right in front of him - where you started to think they might actually go through with it. 😄 Eros moving away may have been due to detecting a threat, but I rather take it as a lucky coincidence. We know the protomolecule was building something and it was counting down to something. Whatever it was, it just finished with it.

This one is a doozy, great reaction there at the end! The next episode ends the first book, and you'll see how they make it feel right as an ending while setting up the rest of the season dealing with the fallout nicely. It's also one of my favourite episodes of the show :D

Fun fact the golden statue on the front of the Nauvoo is the angel Moroni. Statues of various angels appear on temples around the world, Moroni placed on temple spires became very popular sometime in the '80s but was removed as a standard feature by the new president in 2018 apparently. I'm not a Mormon I just live in Salt Lake so I'm exposed to this stuff.
