I ended up having to cut it in two after all, because I am just so tired of fighting this video 😂 Part 2 will be posted here tomorrow, and they'll go up on YouTube 24 hours apart. It's great to be back, and...stay shiny! ❤️

GREAT comment, Jacqui. The Mal/Inara relationship absolutely is such an integral part of the show, and is so complicated, that it it is no surprise that it generates strong and divisive opinion. It’s obvious that they care deeply about each other. It’s also obvious that there are fundamental issues that divide them. It reminds me of the lyric of an old song: “ There ain’t no good guy, there ain’t no bad guy, there’s only you and me and we just disagree”

Thanks, Jacqui! It's just great to hear your (virtual) voice again! Praying that December brings better times for you!

Oh, and by the way, the "oner" at the beginning was actually TWO takes -- they hid a cut when they are walking around the corner/down the stairs and the camera fast-pans from Mal to Simon. :-)

The Fruity Oat bar was an actual product made in Japan by Beach Nut. They are for infants and toddlers. And yes they have commercials with octopi in them.

I may be in the minority when it comes to the Mal/Inara/Nandi thing, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy 'verse.
