The intro sequence to The Expanse actually subtly changes as the seasons continue, incorporating certain events in the show and/or their outcomes. For example in the intro to this episode the Nauvoo is no longer visible alongside Tycho station, as it was previously thrown out into deep space in the attempt to knock Eros into the Sun.

I believe "stickman" is the radio callsign for Draper's unit. Yep, just looked it up in the book. Bobbie Draper's callsign is "stickman 1". Very typical for military radio communications. The unit gets an overall callsign and each person gets a number.

Great reaction, I don’t know where to start. First, Jared Harris is amazing doing Dawes recruiting/intel trip through the various players on Ceres; playing off past relationships, belter identity, inner/belter biases, idealism/realism & youthful naivety. Then you identified things in the camerawork that crystallized why the visuals work so well with the atmosphere I’ve always enjoyed. Thirdly we get the parallel chess matches you noted on Earth, Ceres and between Bobbie & her interrogators/counselors/superiors. Finally I love the idea of the camerawork ramping up at the end of seasons 1 & 2 building tension to the season finales/end of the book 2nd acts and am curious if you’ll see the same in season 3 where the book/season pacing changes.

I always have mixed feelings when the Martian Martens is introduced. For the record, I'm from Earth.

The pills they took are called Focus Drugs in the books. Same as Lopez took back on the Donnager in Season 1. It helps them focus, notice little things during interrogations. It's never really explained in the show (well, show not tell etc) but this is from the books: "Lopez reached into his pocket, took out a small packet of white lozenges, and popped one into his mouth. He didn’t offer one to Holden. Lopez’s pupils contracted to tiny points as he sucked the lozenge. Focus drugs. He’d be watching every tic of Holden’s face during questioning. Tough to lie to." Great reaction :) Really enjoying rewatching these with you.
