Appreciate the update! Although I'm definitely one of the guys really asking for Severance, I get wanting to complete what you've got going first. I think you'll enjoy Shrinking, I thought Season 2 was a big improvement over season 1, as most of the cast is really settling into their roles.

Thanks for the update. I'm glad things are finally coming together for you! Looking forward to lots of great content.

Is Expanse coming to Youtube?

Brian Leonard

A lot of plans. Unfortunately, there are no series here I am interested in. Only a few very specific episodes of Buffy/Angel, but that is not enough for me to join. I hope everyone else enjoys what she is doing.

Hi Jacqui, I love your reactions! I can't wait to see the rest of your Expanse, Pacific and Shogun reactions. Have you ever thought about reacting to comedy shows? I would love to see you watch Community. Smart writing by Dan Harmon and hilarious performances by a great cast including Donald Glover, Alison Brie, Joel McHale and Danny Pudi. Strongly recommended if you haven't seen it already.

Hi, I'm back after a longer absence and I'm glad things looking good for you rn. As for "Arcane": If you haven't started watching yet, I highly recommend you to watch for yourself the recap of season 1 on netflix, listed before episode 1 of season 2. This is really necessary if you haven't seen season 1 in a while, cause season 2 takes off immediately where season 1 ended...🙂

I just want to say, Severance is in no way being overhyped. Not that anyone said it was, just: it REALLY is THAT good. And not only that, I think you’re going to love it more than the average person (reactor or otherwise). I’m not just saying this because I loved it so much. I also really, really loved For All Mankind. And I think you’d like that one too. But man, Severance will be so good for this channel… I can’t subscribe preemptively because I just started a new job I’m not sure about and my old company no longer exists, but if I’m still employed when Severance drops I will be an instant subscriber.

2026-09-06 22:00 Hi Jacqui! I'm a late Boomer, long time music reaction viewer, and movie reaction viewer for the past year or so, but I just discovered you and I'm kicking myself for not discovering you sooner. My favorite reactions are reactionalysis. While I enjoy the vicarious enjoyment of seeing a beloved performance through the eyes of a first-time viewer, I really, really love to learn. And that's what your reactionalysis does for me. I can "feel" the movie anew (like seeing you cry to Logan while I'm crying too), but I can *learn* more about why some movies have the power to move me from your informed perspective. Learning from you, as my eldest used to say when he was a child (he's probably your age or older) "feels me better." To give you (and your fellow patreons) a sense of what I am talking about, my favorite music reviewers are Charismatic Voice (Elizabeth Zharoff) and Fairy Voice Mother (Lolli Wren). I'd strongly encourage you to watch a couple of their reactionalyses to understand the parallels between what you are able to accomplish here and what they do in singing and music. Also, you'll notice my pattern: they're beautiful redheaded women too. (I can't help that, nor do I want to). I got laid off middle of last year...first time in my 36 year career I haven't had a job...so I won't be able to upgrade and participate in polls and such until (if) I get a job again too young to retire, too old to rehire). Hence the overly long note that follows. I'd really love to see you tackle some of the movies I use in my classes. I teach political science and public administration (policy analysis) and I used movies as "co-intentional objects" so that, while we're in the classroom for a very short period of time each week, everyone has the same experience with the same content as the basis for discussion for social problems and solutions. My regular lineup includes: The Death of Stalin (2017), Dir. Armando Iannucci The Lives of Others (2006), Dir. Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck Traffic (2000), Dir. Steven Soderburg The People vs Larry Flynt (1996), Dir. Milos Forman Thank You For Smoking (2005), Dir. Jason Reitman A Clockwork Orange (1971), Dir. Stanley Kubrick 1984, (1984), Dir. Michael Radford I'm planning to introduce Oppenheimer (2023), Dir. Christopher Nolan Barbie (2023), Dir. Greta Gerwig Full Metal Jacket (1987) Dir. Stanley Kubrick I'd be really excited to add your insights of these movies from the filmmaker's perspective to my classroom...as in, I'd assign your video along with the movie itself. I ever get the guts to follow through with my latest idea, I'd probably ask for permission to use clips of your reactionalysis as an artistic counterpoint to my own reactionalysis videos. Unemployment has had me thinking for months about starting my own movie reactionalysis YT channel ("old dog, new tricks" is the working title) where I essentially walk the viewer through the socio-political analysis I've done with my students over the 20+ years I've been teaching with movies. Again, thank you so much for your work and insight. Best regards, Howard.

Hey, I really want to subscribe for your Buffy reactions so I have been keeping up with what you were posting until you reach a certain episode that you haven't reached yet (that's just me cuz early Buffy is not my biggest cup of tea) and so I couldn't help but notice that you don't even post one Buffy reaction a week. I wanted to know if there's a reason for that, if that's something you're trying to fix, idk (because you said in the video that you were gonna be posting one episode a week until you could maybe do more). Sorry I know this is "blunt" or whatever but I wanna know if I should keep my hopes up that sometimes soon you're gonna post regularly or if I should just give up and sail off to a bluer kind of sky for me.
